My grandfather, Offim Myerson, opened this pharmacy in 1907 in this location, then my father, David Myerson, and uncle owned it. I spent much of my childhood years working there on weekends and summers. When I was three years old I knew how to work the cash register and give change to customers. Very happy years. I miss it greatly.. My father sold it in the late 1970's or early 80's.It is wonderful to see it still open after one hundred sixteen years.Judd MyersonJanuary 2024

I would NOT recommend this pharmacy. They are unprofessional, every time my parents go to pick up their medications is not ready, even when they call a day prior to let them know. They offer delivery but then never deliver, the pharmacy kept telling us the driver tried delivering the meds and rang the bell but that was a lie because that never happened. We waited for 2 days and the driver never delivered the meds, we tried picking the meds again and the pharmacy kept telling us the driver had it and that they didnt know when they were going to get it back from the driver. I told them to transfer to another pharmacy and they didnt want to do that because the driver had the med… I even spoke with the manager or pharmacist in charge and he told me that we STILL had to wait, my mom at this point was out of medicine.. i told them i was going to report them to the Board.. and that was the only way he reverse the claim and my mom was able to get her medicine from the other pharmacy. Im still reporting this, this whole situation was unacceptable!! Avoid this place

Very unprofessional pharmacy. They have been withholding my mother in law’s prescription for several days due to their own driver’s failure to deliver her medication. They are being very uncooperative and unprofessional and continue to withhold her prescription. I would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone.

This place is super unprofessional and unorganized, my mother hasn’t received her medication and it’s already been 2 days since they were suppose to deliver it. When asked if it could be picked up, they tell us that it’s with the driver still and they don’t know when he’ll be back. 1. I don’t understand why a delivery driver STILL has her medication and not back at the pharmacy and 2. If he has it for 2 days then why is it still not being delivered?

Kind service and very diligent. Needed some Covid-19 rapid tes. I thought my insurance only covered one test but they kindly took the time to check how many it would actually cover. We should really support our local businesses !

This store does not keep their inventory up to date. The website shows they have COVID-19 home test kits in stock. I called the store told they told me they were sold out for a while and there is no timeline. I mentioned their website still shows the item was in stock...no response. The store needs to update their inventory asap or some sick people may waste their time searching for a test kit that the store does not have available.

I went there to get something to relieve my injuries after I fell from my scooter. I asked the pharmacist lady what I had to do for my wound and she genuinely got worried about me. Recommended bandages with antibiotics and cleaning the wound with alcohol wipes. She treated my wound on the spot. She is such an angel. My favorite pharmacy from now on. Don’t listen to the bad reviews!!!

Who ever answers the phone needs to be fired she is terrible for business and can't even answer a simple question. Very rude and unprofessional hangs up on the customer because she can't do her job or doesn't want to check if they carry the medication.

Sadly we found out today that our 8 month old son has an egg white allergy, and would need to have an epi-pen. There's (very infuriatingly) a nation wide shortage of epi-pens; however my husband found Myerson Pharmacy online, and they not only had them in stock - but were able to deliver one to our door this evening! It really allayed so many of my fears. Everybody we spoke with from the pharmacist to the owner was incredibly helpful. I'm so grateful for Myerson!

NOT ENOUGH STARS FOR THIS PLACE! OMG. Thank you, Myerson Pharmacy, located in Union City at Summit Avenue, for proving why small businesses matter. Earlier today, I was in a panic after the local CVS Pharmacy informed me that they sold out of the children's flu prescription we need. I asked her if she can do a local search and she informed me that other big pharmacies are also running low or completely out for the night, with no guarantee for tomorrow. My daughter's father ran a Google Search and found this lovely family-owned establishment that had everything we needed. It made me sad when I realized how many times I've passed their store without considering them as an option. Starting today, I will always have a family pharmacist! PLUS, they are not trying to force a bogus flu shot quota on us. The staff was so lovely. The place so clean. My little one has a head start on healing, thanks to them. :) THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU #SupportSmallBusiness #MyersonPharmacy #UnionCity #FluSeason
