The worst moving company by far I've ever dealt with in my life! Upon pick up of my items my price jumped 400$ based on miscellaneous items like a shovel and a mop but it gets better smh. My items not only arrived a week late but was also charged an additional 400$ for a shuttle service because my items were on a 18 wheeler and it wouldn't fit in my complex. Then to top it off I was forced to call the police because they refused to bring up an item because it was "impossible to bring up with only two people". The absolute worst and I've already reported them to the BBB so this is just a warning for anyone in the future considering going with them! DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!!!!!!!!

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!! Fair warning to all! They stole all of my good jewelry. When I called to report it, they just brushed it off, saying “call the insurance company and they will send you a check”. If I could give negative stars, I would. I hired them to move me from CT to FL - worst mistake ever! As others stated, the original price quoted jumped up over $2,000 despite giving them the exact measurements of my storage units. They were very rude and unprofessional, and when I filed a claim to be reimbursed for my stolen goods, they of course denied it. When I tried to call and dispute it, they don’t answer the phone, nor can you leave a message, as the recording just hangs up. I am heartbroken over the jewelry, as much of it was sentimental in value. They didn’t care. The worst company I have ever dealt with! Please look elsewhere if you value your items.

Horrible! Never hire them! They broke my Samsung 65inch curved tv even I paid extra for the wapping. They were missing my Samsung 42inch TV. They lost my winter jackets(value$2000). They were missing one of my bar stool. They made scratch of my upright piano. Of course, they appeared on the moving day and raised $2000 more from my original quote. Also, they said they can keep my stuff in their storage for more than 60 days if I pay extra. But all of sudden, they called me when my stuff was in their storage about 40days, they said they can’t keep my stuff. They wanted me to get my stuff even before 60 days because they are out of space! Lastly, I was trying to fill out the insurance claim, their name was not legally registered and the customer service never called me back.

You go first through a broker that promises you quick delivery only to have your stuff sitting in a warehouse for weeks while you sit in an empty house and they take your money. Communication is bad and they treat you like nothing. They say beginning of the week and it turns out the end of the week and that is not even a guarantee. They push this 21 day to deliver a little to far. Even when you call they do not answer the phone in a professional manner.

Using Experts Movers union services has been a good experience. Everyone was polite and very helpful from the front office to the movers. They were efficient and quite knowledgeable. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to my family and friends.

Doubled the price on Move Day. Needed $2400 extra, half in cash. The man in charge of paperwork tried to get me to sign blank forms. When I told him I needed it to be filled out first, he said that the process was to get it signed first. I explained that I was sorry, and I'm sure that he meant no harm, but it would not be responsible of me to do. He was unbelievably rude and condescending and said if I don't trust him it's going to be a hard move.Soon after, the same man knocked over and broke a large framed family picture. He later said I was going to "have to pay a premium" to put it on the truck. It was very obvious he just didn't want to be responsible for breaking it, and potentially did it on purpose as he was very angry that I didn't "trust" him.The sales person prepped me to receive my shipment in 5-7 days. It's twenty days later and I still do not have my belongings. Every day I call and they usually do not answer the phone. When I get ahold of them, they say the truck driver is "loading today" and should be there in 3-5 days.UPDATE: Has been twenty five days, each time I speak to a manager, the employees "transfer" me, which results in us disconnecting.

Very good experience here. They came in way below where my prior mover was quoting me so I went with them, and boy did I get lucky. Jennifer and Claire in the main office were very helpful throughout the process, and the movers themselves were great as well. They were on time, had a great attitude and were cool, friendly guys (especially considering like everyone else I went way over my expected box allotment). I moved cross country from NYC to Chicago and got my stuff in under a week, and everything was generally very well intact. The movers who moved me in on the back end were just as pleasant as the ones who moved me out (one of them amazingly was one of the same guys who moved me out in NYC). The one thing I’d highlight that was a little strange is the payment structure. I liked doing 1/3 1/3 1/3 upfront, at the time of the initial move and then the last 1/3 at the time of the move in, but the inability to use a credit card for each part was a little weird to me (you could use a credit card for free on the initial payment, but for the second payment you got hit with a 4% fee, so Venmo was encouraged, and then cash or a post office money order was required to get my stuff off the truck on the back end in Chi). Apparently this is standard but it was a little weird to me, especially the part about Venmo-ing a random dude who’s Twitter handle was CryptoAl. So despite my being a little worried about all that stuff, everything worked out very well, and almost as good as it could have. Overall, would highly recommend.

These movers were outstanding. They arrived on time, had a good work ethic and were super easy to communicate with. They made my move stress-free, which is truly priceless. Definitely hiring them again!

In the beginning prior to booking I receive a lot of communication from the sales rep Martin. Prior to booking the sales rep gave a ton of information in regards to the pickup and delivery information. The day before pick up the company called and notified me that the movers will be there the following day between 12p-5p and the driver will call 1 hour prior to arrival. I waited until 4 to call the company because no one called come to find out my delivery would be the next day. The office said the drivers would be out the following day between 12p-5p, the drivers did not arrive til 8:45p. There were no dividers in the trucks to separate the other persons belongings, no measurement of space, no mask worn. Overall not a great experience. My delivery day was 10/31, the company did not come; I called 11/1 to get and update and was told my stuff will ship soon, on 11/5 I called the office again for them to say the same things. The communication has not been great, overall the service has been bad.

Worst moving company in the city. Took them a month to get a friend's stuff to them. Not only that whenever they would call they would get read responses and hung up on literally said they don't know when they will be there could be 2 days could be 7 days. Quote also would increase every time they called. When the stuff finally arrived today items were broken!!! Never use this company

BEWARE - this moving company botched a grand piano move for us. Numerous commitments not met, changed the price at the last minute and then, on top of it all, they lost a crucial piece that makes the piano virtually worthless/unusable. We are contemplating legal recourse as a result. I strongly caution anyone from selecting this company. Such a hassle to deal with them.

We had a great experience with Expert Movers. The crew was great, friendly, courteous, and caring of our belonging. Everything was packed with great care. Darren was great and walk us through move all the way until we got our belonging. At the day of the delivery the driver showed up with one helper and we were a little bit worried because we had lots of stuff. I though it will take forever but the guys were super fast and deliver the items in 2 hours with no problem. Thanks guys. I would highly recommend Expert Movers.

For the work and effort, I thought the prices were fairly fair. The expert movers' team was willing to assist me with my transfer in the midst of a pandemic and their full explanation of the precautions they were taking to keep everyone safe. They made it very easy for me to move into my new apartment, and I appreciate it a lot!!
