Susan was absolutely great to work with for our wedding- easy to contact and incredibly professional. I gave her a vision for our big day and she brought it to life. She was onsite to stage the florals for the ceremony and then moved them for our reception and for the cocktail hour. I loved all her designs!

Susan was an absolute gem to work with for my April 2023 Wedding. It was my first time ever using a florist and I had no idea what I was even looking for. All I really gave her was the location and colors I thought would look good and she immediately knew the venue and worked with me on my budget with what I'd need for the day and wouldn't need. She never tried to oversell to me or anything and made me feel comfortable like I was working with a friend. I was absolutely stunned when I received all of the bouquets. They were the first thing I received in the morning and they completely made my day before it even started.

All my wedding flower dreams came true, thanks to Kait and the entire Cut 1 team for their amazing work.After one phone call, Kait quickly brought my vision to life in a detailed proposal including exact flower inspiration in my color palette and featuring flowers I loved! She is a true visionary and took it upon herself to research my reception and church venue and made a few key suggestions, including hanging greenery in the reception. It was truly a magical space! Two weeks prior to my reception, Kait modified the floral arrangements once we had the final floorplan.I highly recommended hiring Kait and the team at Cut1!

I worked with Susan for our wedding and she was able to deliver on everything I had asked for. I had sent inspo photos of what I had wanted but I also do not know a lot about flowers so Susan made many recommendations and suggestions on how to place the flowers and ideas on an altar. We planned on not having many decorations but Susan still made the venue look so beautiful with the flower arrangements and candles that she put around everywhere. Our guests absolutely loved how everything was set up.

I ordered flowers on March 24th and never received a confirmation that they were shipped as it states in their order confirmation. I emailed and left 2 voicemails and never received a response. So I had to reach out to the recipient to confirm they received the flowers. I wanted to avoid that since the person was out on maternity leave. They did the receive the flowers. But the shop should really improve their customer service. An email confirmation would have been appreciated especially during the pandemic.

Susan compassionately guided me on a funeral arrangement for a family member; and although she had a short window to complete the order, it was a beautiful, fitting celebration of life for our loved one.Thank you, Susan, your generosity of spirit is gratefully appreciated and will always be remembered.

Susan and her team were such amazing and easy people to work with! From the moment we met I knew I could trust her in making our dream wedding come true. All my arrangements, bouquets, centerpieces and etc were absolutely beautiful and the quality of the flowers was impressive as it all lasted so long. I would recommend everyone to Cut 1 Floral Design, if only we could get married again! I will always treasure the photos and memories I have of this day forever.

Susan and Vanesa did an amazing job and far surpassed my expectations! Susan and Vanesa were so helpful, attentive and understanding the full way through. They are just such great people. Vanesa NAILED my floral arrangements of white and green. In fact, all of pictures featured my lush summer bouquet because it was so beautiful and was the perfect accessory to being a bride!! Even my photographer complimented them over and over again when they were first delivered.My chuppah though was the show stopper - just WOW! We had our ceremony on the Hudson River and on a bright summer day. Those white drapes were blowing in the wind and the flowers were simple, drool worthy and straight out of a wedding magazine. It has surpassed anything a Pinterest board - and was probably one of my favorite details to the entire wedding.Vanesa, you’re amazing and so unbelievably talented. My wedding would NOT have been the same without your special touch!!

Susan was AMAZING to work with! She has been the floral designer for our family for years and we knew we had to go see her first! We went to her with some pictures and some ideas and she put the whole thing together for us exactly the way we wanted it! Our venue looked like a dream with the center pieces! Our family and friends had only amazing things to say about our flowers! I absolutely loved the bouquet she did for me and was super helpful in putting the charms on it liked I wanted which made it that much more special to me. We totally recommend Susan and Cut 1 Floral Design!

I've been familiar with Sue's work for a long time, as a friend used to send me arrangements by her. I was always impressed by her "eye" for making them look so beautiful and original, and also by the unfailing freshness of all of her flowers. Every arrangement I received (and there were a lot) was a work of art. I'd also noticed an amazing arrangement in a Hoboken building lobby once and upon inquiring, was told they were by her.Thus, I wanted nobody but Sue to do the flowers for my wedding. She listened carefully to my ideas and gave great suggestions. Another thing that really impressed me and speaks to Sue's character and business acumen was that she took the time to speak to my mom and give advice about flowers that my mom was arranging! Sue was also very reliable as well as sweet. I absolutely loved the bouquets, wrist corsage, and boutonnieres she made for my wedding, as did all of our guests. I wholeheartedly recommend Sue’s work.
