If you want to get treated with racism and rudeness then this is the place for you. Very rude, they don’t want you touching anything. When your buying beauty products like shampoo and hair conditioners you have to read the label to pick the right ones for your hair type right. Well apparently you can’t do that here or you will be talked down to in a very degrading way. I heard they treat a lot of people this way. They are going to loose with that attitude.

I would give this business zero stars if I could. I could not believe the odasity of the man who runs that place. He is a racist against women and other cultures such as Hispanics and blacks. I went in the store and I was picking out some things and as I was getting them I was bringing them to the counter. But as I was doing that I started to notice that he was watching and commenting on my every move and kept on asking me about why I went back to look at something. I said oh I want to see if you had another color I like. Well, he was making a big deal out of me walking back to get an extra color. Well I didn't even make a big deal out of it. Then I went to grab a shampoo. So I picked up about 3 bottles and I was reading them to make sure I was buying the correct one for my hair type. Well all of a sudden he starts yelling at me about reading all the labels, he said that I was taking to long and that was touching everything. I only touched the items that I was buying. I told him to quit talking to me so rudely and to have some respect and that I was a valued customer and he could not talk to me like that. Then I was paying for my stuff and he had given me the bag and then he ripped the bag out of my hands in a very violent way. It was a horrible experience and I will not be going to leave my money at that rude and racist persons establishment. There are many other beauty supply stores in Hudson country that will gladly appreciate my Buisness and treat me with dignity and respect. I suggest you go somewhere else unless you want to be treated rudely and with disrespect.

This establishment is disgusting, starting with their service! The owner openly discussed his concerns with serving “black” customers and outright opinionated his beliefs going on to say he “knows” they are responsible for being the large population of welfare recipients! (& I’m saying it appropriately for the sake of this public review) Ignorantly he did not know did he was speaking to a “white” woman with mixed race children! Beyond disrespectful nonetheless, but it is obvious why he assumed to be comfortable expressing himself! He continued by indicating he is a victim of “black-women” who come into his business with intentions of spending no money trying “to save every dollar”. I cannot go on to explain the utter disbelief in his words and extremely sad reality of racism and prejudice that exists! As my mother tried to defend humanity and educate him on fairness and respect, it got worse as he loudly and aggressively challenged her stance and bashed the African American people calling them “lazy” claiming “they bring babies into the world to come into his store and touch everything”. He referred to the women who come into his store (black women) as “those people”! Clearly we are boycotting this business FOREVER and so should whomever reads this!

Worst experience ever, as a mom having a daughter with type 4c hair I need to make extra sure the ingredients are without certain type of oils and alcohol the owners were very rude. Felt so unwelcome being asked and demand to give a name of a product when I myself of a toddler do not know which products will work as if they are stylists themselves. Thankfully I took my business elsewhere and the other beauty supply store that recieved my business and made their money was very genuine and welcoming. I will never go back to this store ever. As close as this spot is, I cannot go here! I’m constantly followed around the store. Prices are changed. Went there a few days ago for something and asked for the price at the register as what I grabbed didn’t have a sticker…come to find out, there was a price sticker on it that I overlooked and I was charged a few extra dollars. The other rare occasion I went I was accused of stealing because the charge didn’t go through on their end and when I showed it went through on mine, I didn’t even get an apology. There’s SO many other better places out there!

Yes please on Monday I want to pie rubbing Pam for my hair she took $20 for me and she gave me seven dollars she stole my money and nobody want to answer the phone and when I get back to the store it was close and when I called him on the phone, he hung up the phone and tell me you wanna talk to her I can hear you and he hung up the phone on me. This store is a thief

Terrible experience at this place. THE EMPLOYEES ARE RUDE, and rush you out of the store. They create their own hours and close whenever they feel like it. And last time I visited the store, I saw people who didn't purchase anything because they couldn't find what they needed,, and as a result the main woman clerk yelled at them and said the customers smelled bad. Don't even get me started on how they change the price when you reach the register on products that already have a set price when on the floor!!

The staff here really k ow about hair products and are eager to assist. you walk in, explain what you want or need and they commence to resolve your problem or find the aporopriate product. There’s no upselking, just genuine customer service. I usually stay longer than intended; they have a diverse inventory and the prices are great!
