“Best liquor store in the area! They are all so friendly and welcoming! If there is a wine or liquor you like they will stock it for you. The topper is this situation I went through tonight. Long story short, I bought wine at Wine Warehouse, which is where I typically go since it’s on my way home from work. I bought my box of wine there and when I opened it, it was completely bad! Could not even sip it. I took it back and they refused to replace or refund me. I was disrespected in the process. I left and went to Mr. Liquors and told him about the situation and he said I will help you out. He has seen me come there and appreciated my business. They refunded me!!! I mean how amazing is that! Will never go anywhere else for my weekly wine purchases!”

“I needed to grab a bottle of wine for a friend's celebration and Clayton Liquors was the store in closest proximity to my friend's house so I decided to run in. Let me just say that I have never in my life been in such a FUN and STOCKED liquor store in my entire life! They had the upbeat party tunes pumping in the store and the first aisle is literally arranged in a way where they had both a tequila sampling bar AND a whiskey sampling bar with what seemed like every whiskey and tequila that was ever made and each of the little "bars" was decorated in cute little themes and you could tell a lot of thought of effort went into the set up. Now remember that I said I simply needed a bottle of wine for friend's celebration .... I literally left with the birthday bottle of wine, a bottle of blueberry port wine from my favorite NJ winery, a chocolate peanut butter whiskey, and an espresso martini cordial made by my favorite NJ distillery (which I had no idea they even made) OH and a party bucket of mini 99 shots with flavors I had never tried! I could've honestly purchased about 10 other bottles I was curious about, however, I told myself I will come back on my next trip to again explore since I was already a few minutes late heading to the party.Oh and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable which is the cherry on top. What a gem in Clayton, NJ this place is!”
“This little place is a charm. Came to visit from Pittsburgh but I’m from Philly so the people and environment isn’t anything new but let me tell you…. Wine and Spirits WHO?! As long as I visit I will come here for my drinks. Came here yesterday for NYE and the people and atmosphere is so amazing. Not to mention their energy is here is very welcoming. I only got some sizzling ciroc vodka bottles (4PK) and they gave a small free bottle of ciroc, a bit bigger than the sample bottles. He put it beside my 4pk and I’m like that’s this?! He’s like Happy New Year with the biggest smile on his face! Just the sweetest thing ever. Thank you, you guys! And Happy New Year!”

Being greeted at the door by the owner, and having a great conversation with him about what I was looking for, specifically. He was so knowledgeable and helpful!! They have some awesome local brews available (I'm an ipa buff) and also stock some good bartending equipment, which Im always on the lookout for!! ? Highly recommend!! ❤️”

“This is usually my go to spot for my beverage needs. The reason I don't give it a 5, is because the selection used to be amazing on everything. Lately, not sure why, but I feel the odd ball stuff or eclectic stuff is just not as prevalent. If you're a member of untapped they post their tap menu which is nice for growler/can fills. Their staff is nice and helpful.”

“Popped in to surprise my aunt with her favorite drink - beer! The problem is... I'm not much into drinking anymore (years of living in London and hanging out in Ireland will do that for you). I decided on Grolsch because it looks cool with the funky bottles. My aunt likes that kind of stuff. The store is small but has a nice variety of hard liquors as well. Prices were decent and I was in and out in a flash.”

“I really never paid attention to this shopping center before I moved further away.. Was wondering one day on my way home from work, when I worked in West Deptford, looking for a home depot i remembered that Lowe's was in the center! I know like dummy!! Any how the shopping center is clean and plenty of parking. Found what I needed in just a few minutes! So in a pinch, stop on in!”

“Great friendly staff but they have had an influx of people begging for money outside. If you see a couple on black scooters keep driving because they will beg you for money. Even go so far as to knock on your window while you’re on your phone.. They are known Amongst the local liquor stores as thieves and they wear baggy jackets to shoplift.”

“For a small store, the selection here is surprisingly good! It's located in a shopping center with a few restaurants, so it's where we go to grab a bottle to BYOB. The staff is always pleasant & while waiting in line you can tell they have good rapport with their regulars.”
