A few months ago I used them to move from one home to another in the same town. I am only one person living in a 3 bedroom home and that I only lived in for 1year. I boxed 90percent of the house and dismantled 90 percent of the items as well, which include beds, and anything needing boxing or bagging. I spoke to the owner on the phone and he agreed it should be approximately a 3 hour move, as he looked up the house online and what’s in it! The movers came at 8AM and after what seem to be a lack of guys and slow work, I was disappointed, the guys there even acknowledged the owner should have booked another guy and also acknowledged that he did not quote me properly for the time of the move. The guys are not bad but I should have gotten white glove services for what I ended up paying. I paid almost triple the price of what was expected. They did not end up moving everything and told me it wasn’t worth the extra charges, I believe they just wanted to go home. The owner also told me they would box and wrap things.. they did NO boxing and I when I asked them to wrap the items they said they would but instead they just laid it on towels on the truck, VERY AGGRAVATING TO SEE THIS AFTER I COMMUNICATED WITH THE GUYS. I was desperate because I needed to be moved within that weekend, I kept my mouth shut after that. When I brought up price, and the workers the owner said he couldn’t help and he was losing money already. He did take off (about 60$) but that’s for their 1 hour lunch break as far as I was concerned.

Hello Max Movers management,Me and my husband booked your movers for a move yesterday between 1-4 PM.The move yesterday was an utter display of unprofessionalism and harassment.Let me make specific points as to our experience yesterday-1. Despite us requesting repeatedly that the building we are moving to closes service elevators at 5 PM, the movers paid no heed to it. They arrived at 3.30 PM, and made no attempt to hurry.2. They demanded 95 $ immediately upon arrival, and another 200$ tip upon arrival itself, and threatened to not complete the job if we disagreed.3. They were found sitting in the loading dock and smoking while on duty. Our move-in building gave us an hour to move stuff after hours, and opened elevators especially for us, and 15 minutes later when I checked they were still sitting in the truck despite being informed of the allowed time by the concierge.4. They fought with the managers and service people (porters, concierge) at both the buildings, and disagreed to comply with their rules.5. They were constantly shouting in their native language throughout the move and did not talk to us politely at all.6. The sofa was loose and not assembled correctly, and we had to retake assistance today morning.7. The leg of the chest drawer was broken.8. The move was finally completed at 10 PM. They did not arrange anything, and all the packing material and boxes were left dispersed in the new apartment. The supervising manager from the building of the new apartment called the max-manager last night to report their utter display of harassment to everyone involved in the move, and I had called earlier in the evening to report the same thing. This has caused me and my husband emotional and physical harassment including us having to rush back from work early yesterday and still left with all the mess/trauma from last night interfering with our ability to work for the rest of the week.

When we sold my parents house we had Mighty Max move the furniture I wanted to keep to my place. They also moved stuff to my brothers and the things we didn’t want they dropped off to a charity and recycled or disposed of junk. 5 different destinations and they kept everything organized and to the right place. They also helped my brother dismantle and remove a large built in storage unit in a house he just bought. All that work for a very reasonable price. Jimmy was like having a good friend with a truck, but even better. Very professional, helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend!

Being referred by a friend, I was excited to hear what Might Max Movers had available for me. Unfortunately, with COVID-19 going on Jimmy took precautions with his business, being a responsible business owner. He isn't moving himself, but he personally shared who can assist me during my move. From the short time I spoke with him, he was very kind and personable. There was no rush on the phone. Not only was he kind, but he referred me to another moving company in my area, said I can use his name in order to get the best crew. People helping people, that's what I call a great business!

Jim and his crew moved us into our apartment a few months ago. Everything was seamless and quick. Him and the other two guys were all professional and efficient and they actually got us in our new place under the time we thought. Never thought I'd hire movers, but I'd definitely use these guys again and recommend them to anyone.

Very unprofessional, broke our lamp and laughed when I called to have it replaced. I am sure this company can afford $100 seeing what they charge per hour.

So sorry for Stephanie's misunderstanding. Had she given me an address or truly confirmed instead of assuming that her husband did so, We would have definitely been there to help them out. You don't become #1 in Mercer County by not showing up !

I booked a move with Mighty Max in April for today. I called Monday to confirm that we were on schedule. The owner Jim called me back to confirm that we were all set for 8:30 AM. Today no call and no-show by Mighty Max. We are moving out of state to Charlotte so it was critical to be out today on time to meet the unloaders in North Carolina. Jim didn't pick up the phone or even call us. I have used them twice before I was blown away by this. I will never refer him to anyone. Terrible terrible terrible.

Today's move was one of many times Mighty Max has moved members of our family and yet again, they did not disappoint. They are wonderfully capable and professional, and from start to finish, an absolute pleasure to work with. The move today was a long, difficult one, but I can honestly say, despite how incredably stressful any move can be...Jimmy, Diedre, Julian and Chris were so, so pleasant, and accommodating and could not do enough to insure everything flowed smoothly. These folks are work horses! Very hands on,very reasonable rates and efficient use of time on job. Do not hesitate to use this family owned and operated business because they go above and beyond, which in this day and age, is a rare find!

Lady who picked up was a tad rude. She insisted that she needed to come out to the origination and destination of the move in order to give me a price quote, and all I'm moving is a single upright piano, with 3 steps of stairs on either side. When I asked why, she hung up on me.
