I always get great quality as well as customer service. The meat selections are quite extensive and if you don't see what you want, ask Chris, the proprietor, and if he has it, will cut it fresh. I go every two week.

Best meats in town. Our household only eats turkey and beef and this place has all varieties of those meats. Quality meats and courteous staff. Pumpkin Bread during the Holiday Season is exceptional. I have been coming here over 3 years and they never disappoint.

It's high time for an update here. It's amusing to go back and read my old reviews. I was pretty strict in my ratings, truthfully I still am. But that is tempered with more experience and hopefully empathy. I stand by my original words, even though I cringe when re-reading them. When I'm in this farmers market there are several businesses I like to patronize. I don't always need to buy things here, but every time I do I'm happy with the quality and price. On my recent visit I was getting something elsewhere here for an uncle, and then I had a sudden flash of insight.... I'd see if they had any chicken pot pies in stock. They did and I selected the larger one, and a Lancaster brand that I knew I liked. I also got their homemade red bliss potato salad. I liked it a lot and will have to try other salads. The pie was great as always, and a pretty good deal at $9. Other customers were buying the amazing thick cut bacon or other pristine pieces of meat. Along with a few other Lancaster imported items, this shop still carries the local honey from a stall they've expanded into. I was happy to find that credit cards are accepted and I believe there is no additional fee. This butcher shop is a pillar of this market and not one to be overlooked.

My local meat store in Levittown, PA recently closed. I simply Googled “local meat store near me” My Mom makes me my favorite meal every year for my birthday. We couldn’t find Veal Cutlets anywhere!! Bought them from here…..The Best Veal I Had In A While!!! Thank you so much!!! We will definitely be returning customers!!! ?
