I have used Acres a few times in the past and its always been a great experience!
I just want to say, Ive seen numerous negative reviews on many local scrap yards pages and I honestly cant believe it! There are people complaining of scams or high prices but you expect to pay $0 for high end parts. You have to be reasonable and understand that they do not get these cars/parts for free! They pay top dollar so they have a good selection/inventory for customers like us! You complain of bad customer service, it’s the worst you’ve ever seen but you also don’t tell the whole story! You forget to mention the part where you as a customer badger the employees, call numerous times asking the same thing, attempt to negotiate a ridiculous price or give an attitude and disrespect them because you aren’t getting your way, not including calling for a parts availability and giving no info, wrong info or the bare minimum info and expect them to perform miracles and then when you arrive its the wrong part and put the blame on the business 100%. No one takes responsibility for the fact that you ask for a part for a year that’s completely different then the year you have then are upset when its wrong and tear the business apart when all they did was answer the question you asked based on the info YOU gave! Be realistic people! They are trying to make a living in this terrible economy and you kick them down every chance you get! Atleast they are out here trying to run a legit and fair business and provide the best service they can! You dont get your way and you have a fricken fit like a child and drag the business because they didnt let you take advantage of them or let you call them all kinds of names/talk down to them or let you get away with whatever you want! You cant come on to someone’s property and decide what you’re going to pay and tell them what you’re going to do! The customer isn’t always right like some of you think! Get it together! This goes for all businesses! We should be supporting small/family businesses and all I have been seeing is the opposite!
I just had to put in my 2 cents! It’s frustrating to see such negative reviews over such small things that are blown way out of preportion and probably were bc of the customer themselves! I think you guys do a good job and have fair pricing and there will always be people jealous and mad that you dont give into their ridiculous requests! Keep it up! ??

Bad service, I called about a transmission from a Honda CRV and they told me they had 2 and I drove for 2 hours to get it. When I arrived they said they didn't have any, I should put people a little more efficient in what the job consists of.

Sell junk and sell bad transmission and tell you void warranty when you service it so telling me you should in stall used transmission with old fluid
