Worse Verizon store customer service. Like they don't actually want to sell something. I was thinking of switching to TMobile but I want to see how Verizon could get me to stay. Sales person won't even consider giving options for incentives to stay at Verizon (I told them tmobile was giving me a free phone, and another Verizon store in NYC was telling me I can get full upgrade but for tax purpose I'd be better off in NJ as a NJ resident). The guy here won't even look at options for an upgrade. Straight up told me no promos without checking what can be done with my account. Am a Verizon customer for over 10-years and they just lost me here.

I had a serious issue with my phone. I was unable to use it since I locked it out attempting to lock down the Sim. I went into the Totowa store and was assisted by Dan Stevanovic. I explained my situation, and while the store has limited access to certain account data, Dan was able to troubleshoot the issue. He got me back up and running in short order. He was extremely helpful with answering all my questions. What a great dude.

Sales Representatives added additional services to my line with no consent. Very scammy. Added an additional charge for insurance for a line that doesn't have a phone and added a Disney Bundle that I never consented for. Major Desperation. On the phone with verizon and even the customer service reps are fed up with how the in store sales reps navigate business. Calling to see if theres any incentives to stay. Otherwise taking business elsewhere.

Shortly before I had to have open heart surgery, I went in and purchased a new phone. I was bringing a number from another account. I was told my monthly bill would be $95. I was very clear I didn’t want hidden charges showing up. I was assured they would not. This was October 2023. I haven’t paid a bill less than $181 because I was never told I’d be paying for 2 lines as I have two numbers associated with one phone. I had to add a number to the account to “get the discount.” And I was never told I’d be paying for two lines until I received the first bill. It was also not even remotely explained to me by the sales rep. Imagine trying to recover from open heart surgery and having to deal with that. I’m sure the sales rep got a fat commission too. A complete joke of a company and store.

The service was mediocre as usual and the staff in this store was not very patient or very personable, including the store manager who was busy on his own phone for the most part... I felt rushed and even after I left, not everything ended up getting backed up to the new phone. I went into the store to activate my new galaxy 24+ and even though I had to pay $30 to ensure that they help me back-up everything from my old phone to the new one it didnt back up everything. Very disappointed.
