Have to comment on this place as my brief interaction was too hilarious. I had problems with fans causing laptop to overheat and called in to see if they might be able to help diagnose any further problems - at best, clean the fans out, at worst, replace the fans entirely."If a computer's overheating, there's not much we can do, you have to get a new computer. We have really powerful computers starting at $200-$300."For a place labeled as a "computer repair service," on Google, that's embarrassing on multiple levels.Meanwhile, went to another place nearby, they cracked my laptop open, diagnosed the problem, and redid the thermal paste and cleaned it out within 2 days. Other places at worst at least offered to take a look.

My present laptop has recently shown a significant decrease in operational efficiency. With the high expense of purchasing new Apple products, I researched a pre-owned laptop . I saw a Facebook ad posted by Sam, who displayed a commendable level of assistance and patience in addressing all my inquiries. Sam had an older model MacBook Pro that fit my needs at a great price! The inclusion of a 90-day guarantee further bolstered my confidence in the purchase. But he did say it should last me at least 6-7 more years!!!I am an educator and Sam included several useful applications that will enhance my teaching capabilities. In addition, concerns regarding the laptop's age were addressed by my son and Sam ensured the installation of the latest software iteration to preempt any potential operational issues.I must emphasize the familial aspect of the business, as it is family-owned and operated. Such an establishment garners my wholehearted endorsement due to its exemplary customer-centered approach.Thank you Sam and Ms. Renee!! I am starting my new year feeling more prepared with my laptop!

This place was the best computer repair shop I've been to even I was getting a new Mac and there needed to be a new operating system and he downloaded Mac OS Catalina because that was the latest that this MacBook Pro can support My MacBook keeps turning off I'm going back on Monday to fix that but even thought it took a while the things to do there made the time faster and they give you free Microsoft Office and VMWare fusion 11/10 the best place I have ever been to if you live in Totowa and you have a broken Mac that needs fixing go to Tech Stop you will not regret going there.

If I could give 6 stars I would. The owner Sam obviously knows all things Mac and is as good as it gets customer service wise as well. I had been looking for a long time a solution to access a ginormous Iphoto library (66k photos) that I had on a portable backup disk. After my imac died photos was not adequate to present my iphoto albums. Sam worked his magic and I left his store with a MacBook pro at a good price and the ability to access my huge old iphoto library. He literally spent over 3 hours finding a solution. While I waited several other customers came for help or to acquire a Mac, technical assistance (which he willingly gave) and data backup. Sam's solution will be my wife's birthday present and I can't wait until she realizes "lost" photos are on her new MacBook pro. I would recommend his store for anything: backup, Mac hardware or even a friendly conversation.

Cool place for refurbished Macintosh computers. Prices are very and the young lady there was very helpful. I bought a 2013 era Macbook Pro for a price that was very fair and the machine runs great plus it has a 90 warranty from Tech Stop so no brainer. I wish I knew about them sooner.

Sam is not an honest person. I paid him $225 cash for a new iphone 8 with 3 months warranty yesterday and he promised to help me transfer data from old phone to this new phone. He never did and he asked me to do it myself on line or go to Ubreak ifix store. I went to my Verizon store today and Verizon told me the battery with this iphone 8 can only last 8 months. I called Sam for refund or exchange today. He refused. Liar......... Stay away from him.
