All I can say is run. don't walk to skin deep! I've been going to Maureen Baldanza for years and years and I literally have strangers coming up to me to compliment me on my cut and color! they also have fabulous skin care options as they have a great esthetician named Nicole who is the best! it's an Aveda concept salon and all the products are extremely high quality and high attention to detail. Love love love!

I love this Salon, everyone is very friendly. Nikole is an amazing and knowledgeable esthetician. I’ve had acne my whole life, with Nikole’s expertise my acne and scars have diminished. I also brought my mother to get her eyebrows done, she loved it. We will coming back for sure!Services: Haircut

The salon is difficult to find. I got a haircut from Maria. She did not cut my hair as I asked. I explained what I wanted and showed her a picture of the haircut. The haircut I got is awful! It looks like a cheap $20 haircut by a beginner! She took my long hair and chopped it off! No skill, no talent! I would have done better had I taken a scissor at home and cut my hair randomly! Awful, awful haircut! I could just have taken the $70 I paid and put it right in the garbage and it would have been better spent. How difficult is it for a professional hair stylist to cut layers?!! My hair is so short now that I won't be able to do anything with it for quite a while until it grows back. Maria did not listen to me! She did not do what I asked!

The staff at Skin Deep is the best. Maria has been doing my hair for years and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. She is a color expert! Ashley is also excellent. I wonder if the reviewer “Bobbi†has the wrong place. Or maybe she's the nasty woman that was sitting next to me degrading the staff. If it's the same person, the staff was bending over backwards to help correct the haircut she was complaining about from another salon. Either way, this salon is amazing and I've been to many!! The best in NJ in my opinion.

Went here for the first time recently for a glaze, cut, and blow dry and I am so happy to finally find a good salon where they do exactly what you want. My hair felt so shiny and soft after and it was styled perfectly. They use Aveda products and they smell amazing. So happy to have found this place.
