Don't get optimum! The service is horrible and it is a very dishonest company. Customer service doesn't help with anything. Last time I called the lady was yelling at me. I've had to file multiple complaints with the state about optimums service and practices.

Tell me how a representative of a company does not know what they are talking about they told me I could not get other cable box But then when I went there anyway they gave me one so people are getting told the wrong information how are these people getting paid smh and don't tell me sorry like you care, fix it tell the people you got working for you im sorry let me help you to learn what we can and can't do NOT HARD

Pretty straight forward request. In and out in about 30 minutes. Had an issue with my cable modem. Got a replacement and a set of instructions. Self installed at home and the rest was cake.

RUN! Get any other provider Optimum are criminals. They say you agreed to things you didn't. Trying to disconnect is a nightmare. They are shady and refuse to disconnect an account and when they finally accept you are cancelling they will leave your account in "disconnect" status for additional months so you continue to get charged. Crooks. Run run run. Use any other provider. OPTIMUM IS TRASH

The store was somewhat helpful with our phones. The cable part of your company is horrible. Installers don’t do their job and calling customer service is a waste of time. Always get a run around. Paying for installation we did ourselves. Can’t even get replacement remotes, which will have to be reprogrammed. NOT A GOOD WAY TO DO BUSINESS!

Deserves 0 stars. Absolutely horrible...tried to cancel service - can't do that there. Given a # to call. Called #, told them 10 times of my desire to cancel. Asked why...found a competitor with better perks, over $120 less monthly - ALL guaranteed for 5 YEARS. Put on hold for over 30 minutes. Male gets back on and offers me several deals & adjustments in my monthly bill, first $30, then $50, then $100. Too little too late!! I asked for proof of my cancelation - told I would receive an email - LIED. This is who you have fielding calls from customers? Do yourself a favor and BAIL. GOOD RIDDANCE Optimum

The customer service is terrible. The two people helping customers have a bad attitude and they don't try to offer anything to make the customer happy. Doesn't even bother to ask what is the problem. They don't care about the customer satisfaction. Next time I will go a different store.

I live in a complex where I have no choice of providers. 3 days ago my internet went out and I had numerous calls from them. I work via the internet as a psychotherapist and could not work from here. Today a very competent technician came. What he discovered was that there was no signal. He found it was disconnected from outside by an optimum employee. I WAS UNABLE to work for 3 days. They kept calling and disrupting my life. I requested a credit and only got $9.00 for days of no work. I LOST $ and there is no person to complain to. I am going to move and have no intention to continue with altice after I move. They are terrible

Went into the store after some issues with a ported number. Even though we got there before closing, because fixing the issue would take too long they couldn’t be bothered. Their solution was to just come back another day or just try with customer service. Don’t bother stopping here, obviously doing their job is too much to ask.

After being a customer for almost 8 years, and spending ridiculous amounts of money on their services (suspect at times), I cancelled all of my services 2 days after my billing cycle ended April 8, 2023. I hand delivered their equipment to them directly at this location on April 10,2023. Next day I was on a flight relocating to a new state. A few weeks go by, and I got a "final" bill from my 2 days of use. Unfortunately, they didn't charge for the 2 days of use but instead sent me a bill for the 2 days of use plus the upcoming months charges. After talking to their customer service people on 5/17/23 and asked if they could do anything for me as I was a good paying customer for almost 8 years. Less than a week later, I received a letter with the same bill and amount due. I once again called customer service on 5/26/23 and got the usual run around. Service person told me that he would "run this by higher ups" and see if it could be more prorated- mind you, this is hundreds of dollars $$$$$. Service told me that corporate would be in touch with me within the next month. Today, June 24, 2023 I received my answer- they sent this "request" to the CBHV Collection Agency. Since I moved to another state in April, I have my pick of new cable/internet/phone service of which one choice is Optimum. This is the way you treat loyal customers? Hey Optimum, guess which service I will never choose?
