Not sure why every time I visit a Hobby Lobby location I spend more time waiting to check out than shopping. The company’s procedure at the front of the store is mind boggling. If they honestly didn’t have a better selection of items than a company like Michael’s or better prices than JoAnn I could never see me shopping here.

The Walmart of Craft stores.
The cheapest of the cheap (and also trashiest) home decor and crafts; people who obviously hate their jobs working there. It’s the type of store that makes you feel poor. They don’t even take Apple Pay. So sad.

Not nearly as much "hobby" as it used to be. More of a mashup of Home Goods and Michael's, anymore. Not necessarily a bad thing as we've bought a lot of nice things for the holidays and the occasional crafty items. I suppose they've adapted to the changing times in that hobby stores are shrinking and disappearing as the years go by, which is unfortunate. Wish they were open on Sundays! That's one way they (and Chick-fil-A) could definitely adopt for changing times.

It's like a Home Goods, a Christmas Tree Shoppe, and a JoAnne's stacked in a trench coat; save yourself some money and only look at the flyer items your wallet will thank you.
