Most of the time I am able to get my prescriptions shipped to me, which is very convenient. However one prescription. I have to pick up in person. This morning June 22, I called to ask if I could have a prescription delivered to me and a very snarky associate rudely told me that I can't have this prescription delivered. Whatever happened to good customer service? If the pharmacy associates hate their jobs so much why don't they look for work elsewhere....or just stay home?!

Tried calling the pharmacy three times and they hung up on me each time. What a great bunch of people.

I used to love Walgreens. Now it's pulling teeth to get a refill. Church Rd has made me extremely sick more than once with their delays. I call my doctors and they say Walgreens never contacted them. I just called and the woman who answered the phone hung up on me. I was just saying I'll contact the doctors. Rude. No appreciation there's medications that we can't just stop. They are unprofessional.

This review is for all of the Walgreens pharmacy locations I've dealt with (NJ) and their policy on telling costumers if they have a medication in stock. I've been trying to find my prescription that has been on backorder at most pharmacies for about 3 months now so I've been calling just about every pharmacy in my area trying to find it. When I called Walgreens, I was told that I can't be given that information over the phone and would need to bring in the actual prescription.(JUST TO TELL ME IF THEY HAVE IT IN STOCK?!)Anyone that gets prescriptions nowadays know that most MD's electronically send your Rx to your pharmacy. So for me to have to bring Walgreens the actual written Rx, I would have do all of the things listed below just so they can tell me if they have the medication or not! First, I'd need to call the pharmacy my MD initially sent the Rx to so they can cancel the Rx from their system, call my MD to see when I can pick them up, drive to my MD's office (an hour away from me) to get the written Rx's, then drive all over just to see if any Walgreens have the medication!!That has to be one of the WORST pharmacy policies I've ever heard of!There's absolutely no need to add more frustration to the costumers that are simply trying to find their medicine and looking for a simple answer, which would take all of 5mins. instead of wasting what could turn into over a days wait. After a couple more calls to other pharmacies, I was finally able to find my medicine and now they have a happy, new costumer.

I have like Walgreens for years! The people have changed but I have never had a bad experience! I like to thank everyone who works there for there hard work!

Arrived at 7, 15 minutes ahead of time as instructed fora flu and covid booster. One person ahead was inquiring on a booster. 7:20 they take her as a walk in and handed paperwork to fill out. They take my card. Not the paperwork. I wait. Another appointment was asked to wait. Expecting to be called upon next... nope. The next appointment was and. I waited. Waited another 5 minutes. They forgot I was waiting. No excuse or apology. They do NOT have their act together here.

I'm finally done with this pharmacy!! The wait time is outrageous, my prescriptions are very rarely ready when they are supposed to be and I still kept going there. Today was the last straw, they close at 6pm, I was in the drive through at 5:45 behind the car being helped. I got up to the window at 5:52 and they turned the closed sign over and shut the shade in my face!!! I would have been fine if she said I'm sorry we are closing, but that was beyond rude & it wasn't 6:00 yet!!!

Awful. They decide not to fill a prescription because insurance was kicking it back. Why didn't anyone call? Show up hours after RX was called in only to have to wait for it to be filled.

Drive-thru prescription pickup lane is a NIGHTMARE. Always plan to be waiting in line for at least 20 mins, and that’s only if there are less than 2 cars ahead of you. I understand sometimes certain orders are more difficult/complex in terms of the situation, but make those customers come inside or ask them to pull into a spot while you figure it out so the line can keep moving. This location needs a lot of help.

The only reason I gave a star is because I can't leave a review without one. Walgreens on Church Rd in Toms River is THE MOST incompetent pharmacy I have ever used. I picked up my scripts only to find they had given me the wrong dosage and half the number of pills the doctor requested. Im ashamed to say that this is not the first time they did this. It happened once before with the same drug, and also with another persciption! The wait time is never less than 20 minutes and is usually almost double that time. I will NEVER be going back there nor would i reccomend them to anyone

If I could give less then 1 star I would. I never post reviews however my experience with them has been so horrific it needs to be told as others would agree hopefully If I could save even 1 person from having to go through the same it will have been worth it. They are the most incompetent group of people I have ever had to deal with. Do not use this pharmacy you will more likely die of illness before they get your prescriptions filled. Any pharmacy I have ever used has been able to fill in 15 mins to an hour they tell u 4 hours, then another 4 hours then another day, lines of people with the same issues. They don’t retrieve they’re messages from drs. Lose prescriptions, bad attitudes, just horrible. The most shameful unprofessional sad excuse for pharmacy staff I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. And the lead pharmacist is the worst should be ashamed and fired.

Went to the drive thru twice in one day, waited approximately 15-20 minutes to get to the window only to find out that the prescription still wasnt ready after 8 hours of sending it in. Dont even bother calling them because they won’t answer the phones.

Has to be the worst customer service and I have never dealt with such incompetent staff in the pharmacy. They show no caring for patients, they are abrupt on the phone and have no respect for the elderly. If you feel this way and work there then you should consider working in a different industry because if you are that miserable working please don't care for people that are sick. It is horrible that they feel the need to fill a job vacancy without proper training. I rather deal with the automated service !
