I had a very alarming experience with the Toms River Post Office and USPS in general. My mail carrier forged my signature on a certified letter and sent my forged signature to the company who sent me time sensitive information. When I called TR post office a supervisor named Henderson proceeded to tell me that some certified letters do not require signatures. This supervisor continued to lie and cover for his mail carrier that clearly forged my signature. This is considered identify theft. I am completely floored that the USPS, a federal agency, is backing their employees for forgery without any further investigation.

Calling them is useless. Have been trying to pick up a package from the post office. The guy kept fighting with me about it not being there even when my tracking said it’s available for pickup. Was told I could send a package for pickup to the post office then told I wasn’t allowed. Very weird. Still looking for my package.

Unsure who does the sorting at this location, been missing mail for weeks. And no one answers the phone to get any help.They need to be investigated.

How do you have 1 person working the counter at 1045 am with a line out the door and you close at 12 on Saturdays….ridiculous

It is a large and busy Post Office. It is located in downtown Toms River. The building is not Handicapped Accessible. They do have 4-5 Handicapped parking spots. The employees are friendly. I was just surprised that for such a busy Post Office they only had 2 people working the counter. There is a separate room inside, where you can apply for a Passport.

No one answers the phone here usps refused to deliver my package saying I don't live at my current address it's ridiculous not everyone had a eay to get to the post office or the time the least someone can do is answer a phone once in a while

Worst post office ever. Women at front desk was very rude. Asked her to make shipping labels which is her job and she basically refused and was rude to me. Don’t go here if you’re looking for workers that will be helpful to you.

I normally don’t come here. I had an Amazon packet I had to return. The African American employee was not friendly. She did not have a positive attitude, I felt like I was asking for too much when I wasn’t. I’ve had a better experience coming here before.
