Worst dealership/car buying experience. Would never buy a car here again. A 1 star rating is even too high. Don’t even try to call because you will get transferred to a third party answering service multiple times.

What a wonderful experience! I purchased my new Atlas a week ago. Toms River Volkswagen was such a pleasure to work with. Every step of the process was nothing but smooth and enjoyable. Their employees are beyond knowledgable about their vehicles and make you feel right at home. Denis and Tony did a great job!

John Kuhn and the entire staff at Toms River Volkswagen were a pleasure to do business with. Very satisfied with the whole buying process. Everything went smoothly. Highly recommended for your next vehicle purchase. Attention to detail matched with a very pleasant overall attitude of everyone that I interacted with. This visit to Toms River Volkswagen was fantastic from start to finish. We called on Monday afternoon and they got us in on Tuesday morning @ 8:00. The reception was extremely friendly. The service representative text me immediately with her contact information and a call back number if I preferred speaking on the phone. They text me before noon with a diagnosis and options for repairs and maintenance for my car. I was able to pick and choose what services I wanted done without any pressure. The service rep answered all of my questions via text immediately. The car was repaired and ready for pickup by 4:00 pm. When I went to pick it up at 5:30 another service rep handled the transaction and was also very friendly and courteous. AND my car is running perfectly.

Rich and Tommy were so helpful in leasing me my new 2024 Atlas Cross Sport! The process was absolutely painless - Rich knew I was passively looking to trade in and reached out about this perfect SUV for me that was available, while Tommy helped finalize the details over my lunch break. GREAT customer service, thank you both so much!

Everything is perfect from the showroom to the service department. The only issue has been your third-party service is giving customers a difficult time and providing false information. For example, I was told had to drop off my vehicle for its first service, but I was not allowed to wait on the premises, since it was a drop off service and they prove it by telling me that they pulled out the owners manual and began to read off of it explaining it was in writing other than that you guys have been great to work with.Keep up the good work easy Peezy.

I came in due to my heated seat light not working. I was there for over an hour just to find that they will have to order a whole new climate unit to get this fixed. I was told they would call me when it comes in. Fine- but this was over 3 weeks ago, almost 4. No one has called to let me know when to come back to get this taken care of. No update, nothing. I call VW and explain why I am calling, I am transferred to the department where no one answers and mailbox is full. I am now returning to work from my maternity leave so it won’t be as easy to come in for me unless it’s a weekend. Please call me with an update.

Got a new car for my niece and Denis made the process so easy! We were in and out of the dealership in about an hour with her new car. Will absolutely be a returning customer for an Atlas of my own!

This has been an absolute horrible experience, and I didn’t even buy a car from them. I’m afraid to go to the dealership. I simply found something that was interesting and asked for some additional information. They literally called me 15 to 20 times a day including Sunday for at least a week now. Almost every time it was a different person, but they all said the same script “ We’ve got some exciting news we’d like to share with you “ . I also looked at some of the hidden fees when I was interested in the car and do you believe in this day and age someone still trying to screw you for glass etching on a used car. Unbelievable. Moving on!!!!!

A Ukrainian refugee family living with me responded to an advertised price on a used, 2015 Toyota Highlander with 172408 miles for $10995. When they drove an hour and a half to the dealer, they were quoted a price of over $14,000 with the tax, document and prep fees. They charge a $699 document fee, which is extraordinary, but with that fee and tax the price comes to $12,422.42. This leave a dealer prep. fee of over $1500! All of it is highway robbery. I called them to inquire and complain, and then all of a sudden, the final price came down to $13500, which is still over $1,000 in prep fee. I consider the whole thing fraudulent, on the order of a bait and switch or false advertising.

I got the best service I have ever received from the salesman Shamar who went out of his way to help me and make sure that I was in a vehicle I was happy with, he was excellent. The finance manager Nick was phenomenal, he explained everything and made sure I got a warranty and gap coverage that I was better than I was expecting. There were some issues that arose with the original vehicle that I was buying and he did everything he could to make sure I left with a safe, certified VW that I was happy with. Because of Shamar and Nick I am not only happy with my service and vehicle, but I would recommend them to anyone looking to get a car here. My husband wasn't even thinking about buying a car and is now considering trading in his car after witnessing the treatment I received. Great job guys, and thank you!
