My fiance Paul and I have no problems with Stop & Shop itself however the parking lot is a disaster of confusion and accident waiting to happen like the one that happened to us on Tuesday July the 11th 2024. After coming out of the store my fiance found the car and the condition in the pictures below with a letter attached it was considered a hit and run simply because the police were not contacted it, and Maria Isabel and her husband were too much in a hurry to get to the doctors to use Simple common courtesy and sense to try to come back to the store and contact us via loudspeaker in the store and of course calling the police to report what they have done! Toms River Police did respond quickly to my fiance's call and was even kind enough on a very hot day to give him a ride home with all groceries so I wanted to thank Toms River Police for doing that, honestly this has been nothing short of a nightmare and after being in touch with the hit-and-run people and their insurance claims adjuster, we were told pretty much that we were going to take a complete loss and I had just put over $1,000 worth of work into the vehicle in March and according to Kelley Blue Book the check is probably going to be equal to that at best! This is robbery and exactly why we have astronomically High insurance in New Jersey because of people just like this, who have no regards to anybody but themselves not thinking twice about turning someone's life upside down, the fact that we don't have a second vehicle to fall back on, I mean yes I'm grateful that nobody was injured but at the same time we were given a rental car that we had to put down a deposit on, we had to be completely and utterly inconvenient Beyond anything I would wish upon anybody! It seems the right to the victims are completely taken away with situations like this people can drive as if they have their driver's license out of a Cracker Jack box okay yes I'm 50 years of age and have no patience at this point in my life! This parking lot has always been confusing and this is exactly why as much as I have nothing personal against the store they need to change a lot of things to make it safer for others, all I can say is park at your own risk! And try to park as far away as possible from the store trust me it's worth the walk and perhaps it'll save your vehicle from looking like o u r s down below!

This place is never stocked up. International delight coffee has been on sale for a week and I've been here multiple times and it's NEVER re stocked and when I asked a worker they said they have no idea when they stock anything up

Because of the people who work there and because of their fried chicken. So far they have not changed their approach to their customer service, which is friendly and the chicken continues to be good.????love it? still the change. No comment at this time . It has changed and not for the good .

Just had a very annoying visit to this grocery store. I decided to leave and not purchase beware especially those of you who are on a tight budget they put 100% misleading sale price signs in front of the wrong item. Remember the hope is that you put so many things in your cart you don't realize you're actually paying double the posted price on the sign. If you're going to take advantage of people at least you could reattach the sink to the wall in the restroom

The store itself is good. Prices are higher than average. Main reason for 3 stars is the parking lot is mayhem. People constantly running stop signs. Becareful when entering lot.
