The prices are just insane. Especially the meat. They also continuouly get rid of brands and force Bowl and Basket on you. They take advantage that there is no competition around to over charge and under deliver.

It is sometimes very hard to write a review and be fair. But ShopRite of Route 37 needs no help to say,If you can go somewhere else,do so. Since Saker became the leader of some Ocean county stores it has been the political realm of less for more.Based on several years of giving them a chance, everything gets worse.RUDE personnel,never enough to help,ignore you when you need help, poor stock availability,carts ALL over, garbage in carts, used liquor bottles.The personnel seem so stressed,today I was struggling to be efficient and the cashier played with her hair,while I was trying to bag food items down the conveyor being pushed,and hurry up attitude.I pray that competition comes in soon,and this is predominantly a senior citizen area. There is a vast difference to the fisher Boulevard store,also Saker but Pearlmutter personnel remain.Many of the personnel have remained in this location,but are very guarded to be positive.Saker is an example of shrinkflation..get by with less.There is never a time when this store is slow.Even the handicapped staff seems to fear for their job.Saying to customer..have a nice day is so shallow.I only wish Pearlmutter stores had remained,and the go somewhere else if not satisfied is POOR. Hopefully,a Wegmans or another competitive chain is on the horizon.I have been shopping at Shop-Rite locations throughout the state for years never to experience this horrific and poor customer service.And they'll probably come up more ways to cut in the future.Sorry I can't find more positive comments to make.One last item, the restroom was filthy as well,and they pass sanitary codes.?

Not a fan of either their produce or their meat. I buy romaine and red leaf every week and most weeks, I usually end up buying prepackaged romaine instead of locally bought because locally bought romaine is both tough and bitter, and prepackaged is not. Their red leaf lettuce ALWAYS has bugs, both live and dead. I also hate that when you search for items on their website, they list what you search for (ex: daikon radish, and lamb neck), as if in stock, but they are NEVER in stock. Why list items if they are not available? Wegman's and Whole Foods are so much more reliable with their inventory.

A particular self-checkout cashier became offensive and insulting by falsely accusing a disabled senior of stealing and handling the person's food. We filed a complaint with the corporate office. We will through our attorney's file charges of defamation and harmful treatment of a disabled senior complaint against the female employee and the store in Toms River.

ShopRite from home has been terrible since using uber! My groceries claimed to be delivered at 11 with picture taken,only to discover, NEVER DELIVERED and left somewhere else! So someone is eating free groceries on me

Sacker Shop rite has removed store brand coffee creamer. this is a violation of law. The Sacker Family bought all Shop rite stores in New Jersey. This is called a momopoly All employees must wear black and white. If a corporation requires a uniform, they have to provide the uniform. I am reporting them for illegal activities. Use Lidl Aldi Walmart. Shalom .

Chinese food was so salty it was inedible. Container wasnt microwave safe. There shrimp is contaminated my fiance cant have certain fish but he can have shrimp and the shrimp made him have an allergic reaction. Terrible

The lady in the floral department is so rude. I was so nice and she answered with such and additude and yelled because I asked her if they had a flower in stock. So rude.

The rotisserie chicken is pink on the inside. I do not recommend eating chicken that is not fully cooked, unless you want salmonella. This is not the first time. Every time I think it will be different, only to find out once I peel back the skin that it is pink again. We work too hard for our money to blow it on chicken that is not cooked to standard. Do better.
