Last night I took my 12 year old pit bull, Sammy, to Priority Vet in Toms River. They got him in within a couple of hours and I can’t say enough good things about them.. from the beginning, they were incredibly compassionate and understanding.. they answered all of my questions and concerns with the utmost empathy and as factual as they could. The entire staff is just fantastic.

My friends dog passed away, in the evening, we bought him here, and they were so compassionate and comforting. They didn’t rush us and were just terrific. I would highly recommend them. Thank you so much.

This place is fantastic. The staff was incredibly accommodating & friendly. My dog had a chipped hang nail & we brought him in just to make sure it was OK. He isn't the best with nail clipping or strangers & they were super friendly. He's a 54lb Aus Sheppard mix. They were able to clip the nail safely & without any further injury to him or their staff. Highly highly recommend for anyone looking for emergency services for their pet in the future or just normal vet care in general.

These guys are amazing! They helped my cat, Teddy, so much! The lab results for her blood & pee were really quick which saves a lot of time worrying.

Terrible atmosphere. Rude front desk ladies. Didn’t like my bully breed and came out in the waiting room and said he needed surgery and multiple tubes placed for 2grand+!! Ended up just being cellulitis which a steroid and antibiotics cleared up. The “tech” if you will diagnosed in the waiting room and was terribly wrong. Do not go there if you enjoy bed side manner and honest care of your animal. Terrible place. They are not welcoming to bully breeds at all!

Saw us on short notice and were very thorough. My only comment is that they didn't follow up the next day as promised. That said, they diagnosed and treated Max appropriately.

We took our 10 year old golden retriever Jake here in December for an unexpected emergency that unfortunately led us to make the tough decision to say goodbye. The entire staff was extremely nice and compassionate. They answered all of our questions and concerns in an incredibly professional and understanding manner, even going as far as showing us the sonogram, and gave us as much time as we needed with our baby. We decided to cremate, and in just a few days we received a call that Jake was ready to come home, and again the woman on the phone was extremely caring. When we picked him up, he was in a beautiful engraved box with a note from priority vet and the cremation facility sending condolences. We also received a letter from priority vet in the mail. Thank you all so much for being so caring through such a difficult time.

Last night we had to take our dog Milo here for the first time. Dr Juliano and his staff were compassionate, professional, and very thorough with their assessment. We are thankful and appreciative for the knowledge, advice, and peace of mind your office provided. When our regular vet is closed it’s comforting to know there’s a local place we can take him that we can trust. Thank you for your prompt and excellent service!

If I could give them 10 stars I would! My son’s sweet little cat Onyx got sick in my care, and I’m not from this area. It started with sneezing, then wheezing, and by the time I brought him in, I was pretty concerned. The staff at Priority Vet treated us with so much care and compassion! CVT Raz, Rae, Mason, Reilly and the attending vet were all so very wonderful! It’s obvious they all know what they’re doing and that they really love the animals in their care. There is plenty of parking, easy access, and their prices are much more reasonable than I expected for an urgent care vet. If anyone ever needs to see a vet, rest assured your fur babies will be well taken care of here!

We needed their services today for the first time. Everyone was kind from the intake, nurse assessment and vet portion with Dr Sinko. Our basset hound was well taken care of and felt comfortable being assessed by the staff whom he never met before. We would highly recommend their services and wouldn't hesitate to return with any of our animals in the future.

I had to put my 19 year old cat Maxie down due to kidney and severe thyroid issues. Everyone at Priority Vets was so compassionate and caring. They were so gentle with Maxie and let me spend as much time with him as I needed. It is a terrible ordeal to go through, but their understanding and compassion helped tremendously. I sincerely want to express my thanks and gratitude to them for everyrhing they did for Maxie and me.

Last Monday, we brought our precious 7yo Cat, Oakley, to the office in Toms River (Rt 37). We received compassionate care and a very quick response upon arrival, with treatment administered immediately. The technician listened, intently. We were given a lot of time to say goodbye to our baby who suffered a stroke. The Doctor was EXTREMELY appreciated, as he discussed very carefully and deliberately, our options, concerns for her quality of care. We had questions, all were considered and answered. No b.s. just facts and empathy.Such a stressful and dreadful night but made a bit easier with this great team of people filled with a spirit of mighty compassion, much empathy and excellence with their patients and pet parents. We are blessed that this place was open and accessible from Barnegat. Extremely fortunate to have such a professional group for our pets.

I can not say enough about the Toms River location. I had brought my cat in to be checked and had to ultimately put him down. They were the most compassionate group of people and made his final moments comfortable. They gave us space and time to say our goodbyes. Dr C was so compassionate in giving us the news that there really wasn’t much we could do. Thank you all!

I had to bring my dog in last night. Honestly, I was skeptical because of the reviews. From when I called to ask questions, to going in, having my dog evaluated and left, everyone was so kind and professional. I was worked with because of my dogs aggression with animals, and everyone there accommodated that situation. The doctor and staff was wonderful. I was there for quite a bit, but my dogs problem was quickly diagnosed, and he was sent home with meds. I would go back if I needed too. Everyone was kind, respectful and professional. Like I said even the doctor was great! Thank you! It was my first time there and not the last, I can tell you that.
