After shopping at 2 other Chevy dealers I found myself at Lester Glenn in Tom’s River. I was greeted by a salesman Chris and Mike the sales manager. I did a little online shopping and they had a Trail Boss that I really liked and it was on the lot. I am sure, like most people, dealing with car salesman is not always a pleasurable experience. My experience was nothing like that. Chris was extremely personable and we sat down to talk. We were able to come up with an agreement on the truck in literally minutes. What a relief. The entire team was very accommodating and it was a pleasure dealing with them. I am extremely happy with my purchase and the experience and I will definitely be a returning customer. Thank you to Chris and the rest of the team!!

I had a great experience with Patrick Mooney, Joe Horsfield. They listened to my concerns and needs when looking for a new vehicle. I went in to get a key cut by the vin# because my ignition was no longer working properly. The parts person cut my key then spoke to service. Service was able to get me in. Will was my service contact. Not only did they do an awesome job programming my truck and getting me back on the road, but they were also able to take care of my air bag recall. The customer service was amazing. Thank you so much

I just bought a Chevy Traverse from Nick Deshefy and had a wonderful buying experience. Nick helped me get the exact vehicle I wanted at the price I wanted. He was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Everyone at the dealership went out of their way to make the experience easy and painless…including the management team (Chris R, Chris C and Steve E). Steve had the most efficient finance experience I’ve ever had (much appreciated if you have leased as many vehicles as we have)!!! I will definitely be back to lease another from Nick and his team as soon as this lease is up. 10/10 highly recommend ???

Went to three other dealerships and they couldn’t come close to our price we were looking to spend. We came to Lester Glenn and Darian & Matt took care of us. They beat the price and were excellent to work with. Paperwork was super easy with their new system.

Had a great experience purchasing a new vehicle at Lester Glenn Chevy. Leo was very attentive and thorough and made sure all my questions were answered. Devon made the financing and paperwork seamless and easy. Everyone was kind, friendly, and professional. I would not hesitate to purchase another vehicle here, but I do plan on having my truck for a very long time. I am very pleased to add yet another fantastic car buying experience to my history of Lester Glenn purchases! I originally stopped by on a whim from my five-year-old wanting his picture taken in front of a really cool looking truck- to actually purchasing it a few days later! Now we are both obsessed with it!! Tremendous thanks to the crew that helped make it happen- Chris Ormsby in Sales, for being extremely patient and helpful as I brainstormed my next move; Mathew Miller, for not giving up and helping me get the numbers just right to make it all a reality; and Devin Jensen, for making the paperwork a breeze. They are the reason why I keep coming back to Lester Glenn!

I tried twice to schedule service online for an oil change, new brake pads and rotors on the front and back and a transmission drain and refill. Both times when the appointment was confirmed the only thing on the service order was an oil change. So I called them and scheduled it over the phone and asked for a total estimated cost which the service person I spoke to would give me a price for the oil change and then I would say okay what about the brake pads, rotors and transmission drain and refill. She would put me on hold and come back and gave me brake pads cost, okay then I said what about rotors and transmission drain and refill this continued with me putting on hold and then asking for the next item, I'm not sure why she couldn't just tell me all at once so it took quite a while to get a total estimated cost. When I brought it in for service they greated me friendly and told me I would be working with Wiliam. I told William since I just moved back to Jersey I only had received my new debit card and not my credit card yet; therefore, my bank said that there is a $2K per day limit on debit card charges therefore, my service can't exceed the $2K. We discussed my the cost for my oil change, brake pads and rotors on front and back and the transmission drain and refill and he gave me a total of $1857. He told me I needed an alignment as well but I was confused how they knew that so quickly when my car was still sitting behind me in the drive in service bay but whatever, I told him I probably couldn't do the alignment due to the $2K per day restriction I had and I really wanted to focus on my brakes, oil change and transmission fluid change. I asked them if they had time to please check the cam position sensor as well because my check engine light had come on the night before and I used my code reader to pull the code. He said they likely would not have time for that so I scheduled that for the next day. After about 90 minutes or so William came and told me he saved me about $200 because the back brake pads still had some life in them and the rotors were only slightly scored. If my original cost was $1857 including the back brake pads and rotors why was my new total $1677.92 when he originally told me me just the brakes would be $1K. I unfortunately didn't think about that until I got home. i looked at my bill and they did a bunch of other stuff on my car I did not ask for. They did a tire rotation, 2 wheel alignment and coolant exchange totalling an additional $383.37. I did not ask them to do any of this additional work and really wished they had done my back brakes like I had asked. The next day I brought my car back in for the cam position sensor replacement and they really wanted me to pay an additional $180 to do the diagnostic which is just them putting a code reader in and pulling the code. I told them I already pulled the code so I just need them to replace the cam position sensor, that was met with, well then we aren't responsible if anything else goes wrong. Needless to say, I don't think I will come back. My advice, which I did not do, is when they have to you sign the scary document of the charges at the service desk before they do the charges, which is just an amount and they verbally tell you what they are doing, which winds up not being true of what they are really doing on your car, ask them for a complete and total break down of all the charges that come up to the total you are going to have to pay. This was a lesson learned but I just wish they had been up front and done just what i asked them to do, or if they felt these other services were needed to come and speak to me about it first before just doing it. My back brakes still have a shudder to them so I'm going to have to take it somewhere else to get them replaced since they didn't do it this visit like I had asked which is frustrating. They are nice but not honest in my opinion.

I can not say enough about Mr. Pat Mooney. I just had a baby not even a month ago and my lease is up in a few short weeks so I was extremely worried about how I was going to get into a new car in time. Pat took all of the work and stress out of getting into a new car. I was able to talk to him via text back and forth to find the right car for me for right now and when I came in to get the car everything was already ready for me. It was incredible. Just signed the papers and away I went with my toddler and newborn in tow. Stress free! I can’t not thank Pat Mooney enough and would recommend him to anyone. He is such a hard worker and really cares and listens to his clients.

I bought a Chevrolet Silverado from Leo and it was the best experience I had with a car salesmen. He was very patient and was very helpful with the entire process. He even drove an hour away with me to make sure the deal was able to happen. I will be recommending Leo to anyone that wants to buy a new car.

Javon was awesome. He was patient, calm, and he would explain everything and anything as many times as you need. He also got me an excellent deal for my trade in which I’m super thankful for him for. The next day after purchasing the vehicle, 2020 Hyundai Elantra, I noticed the buttons on the left side of the steering wheel didn’t work. The general manager got me in service the next day, and John from service Immediately sent it to Hyundai to change out the part, and gave me a car to use in the meantime. This is my second time using Lester Glenn and I’m glad I did. Thank you guys for your service.

If you’re searching for a car dealership with honesty and integrity, look no further than the professionals at Lester Glenn Chevrolet. From the moment my husband and I entered the dealership we sensed this establishment was different from the rest. Our salesperson Chris was courteous, accommodating and knowledgeable. He truly listened to what type of vehicle we hoped to find and offered us the perfect options within our budget. Chris then introduced us to Mike, his sales manager, and we immediately knew this was what a car leasing/buying experience should be! While several other car dealerships in Monmouth and Ocean Counties told us time and time again that $700-$800 lease payments are the new norm, Chris and Mike proved to us that is not the case in this dealership. The entire process of negotiating a lease for a vehicle was more of a discussion and give & take, rather than the high-stress, game-playing tactics we encountered at other dealerships. Finalizing the deal with Devin the finance manager was a wonderful experience as well. We are now enjoying our beautiful 2024 Riptide Blue Metallic Equinox thanks to Chris, Mike and Devin. They are the best!!

This was second time dealing with Leo. He was attentive, kind, knowledgeable, helpful, and was understanding to what my need was. He was able to get the car I wanted at the price I needed.
