I visited this lab corp on mule road today. There was an elderly woman who needed help signing in since not everyone is good with technology. I assisted her but there was a glitch in the kiosk and it was not completing her check in. I have signed in using these tablets multiple times without an issue and I know how to use them. There was no line at the front desk, I asked the women behind the counter several times to assist us. She was just sitting there. She would not get out of her seat and help. She kept telling me I was doing it wrong. I said to her “can you please come over here and help us then” She didn’t. We were going back and fourth for several minutes. I re-attempted many times to help the women check in. All of the other people waiting to be seen were visibly upset and getting involved at this point. They told me they had similar experiences. The staff whose name tag read “coordinator” on it was very rude and unwilling to help. This was unprofessional and not an appropriate way to behave when you are expected to do your job and help those in need. This is the second time I have had an experience like this at this exact location on Mule Road in Toms River. I will not be returning to this location. I left and got my blood work done at the Oak Ave Toms River site. They were phenomenal and the staff were very helpful to those in need. There is a large elderly population in this area and if you lack the empathy and are unwilling to help them with technology then you should not be in this location or field.

The kiosks are not working and the front desk staff is extremely surly and obstreperous. They need need to have lessons in customer service and patient care. Don’t go to this location. The one in Bayville is much better.

Labcorp on Mule Rd doesn't care if you have an appointment scheduled or not. They still take walk ins before you and make you wait a half hour or more before being seen. Why bother make an appointment if walk ins take priority over people who actually take the time to schedule to come in advance?? Very frustrating.

Although I had trouble getting an appointment time I wanted I did chose to walk in and take my chances at a long wait time. I checked in on the kiosk, opted to wait in my car. Within 2 min of getting to car I received the text to come in for blood draw. While speaking with the woman at the front desk 2 men, at 2 different times came to the window and proceeded to be harsh and nasty to the woman trying to process my paperwork for the draw. One man was in the wrong office and the other had wrong paperwork but the woman at the counter( let's call her Pat) was unwavering in her professionalism and quickly showed them the error of their ways. Wrong office guy kept up the sparky comments all the way out the door. She's a better person than me. Idk if I would put up with that all day, which she says happens. I'm sure it does too, in my 5 min total in the bldg I witnessed 2 verbal assaults on Pat who was just doing her job. Her stick wasn't bad either. Cudos to you at the front desk for handling both situations professionally.

I came first thing in the morning as a walk in for routine lab work. I was pleasantly surprised that immediately after checking in I was taken back and was able to get everything done in less than 15 minutes. Very professional staff with quick and great service. I came before work and was concerned I would be late, however, I now have over an hour before my shift starts. My phlebotomist was outstanding. My veins are usually a hard stick, but, she got it effortlessly on the first try! I highly recommend this location.

This labcorp on mule rd Toms River has the BEST employees I’ve ever encountered! I’ve always had huge anxiety when having my blood drawn due to a painful mistake made by another lab(not labcorp) When I explained my nervousness, these awesome women did help me immensely and showed me care like I am a family member. From beginning to end the appointment making process is so easy, checking in from your car is such a great service and you are in and out in under 10 minutes!I can’t say enough good and positive things about these awesome people!Thank you!!!

We Absolutely love Stephanie . She is amazinh with children . My daughter has small but deep veins and everyone else has such a hard time finding them. Stephanie gets it on 1st try. We are going to miss her when she retires.

The techs were very nice and were great with my son, who is petrified of getting blood work. They were friendly and understanding and he did great! I also had blood work that day and didn't feel it at all. No bruising either. The wait was maybe 10 minutes and we didn't have an appointment. Will go back fur sure.

This is the best place I've been to for blood drawing and I've been here with 2 different phlebotomists. They're good and quick. I used to be a fainter, so the quickness is a big plus

Labcorp Toms River New Jersey Mule Road has the nastiest workers that are so rude to these older people first thing in the morning. This is the second terrible experience I had here with ladies. Would never recommend anyone dealing with this from a health care professional.
