They're convenient as you head onto the island but often that comes at a price. In this case, it's higher prices and somewhat obstinate people with a take it or leave it attitude. Was looking for something obscure, the type of thing that you only find in the 'old stuff we've never sold' box (they all have one) at a tackle shop. Found some and offered to make a deal to clean them out of that item as they were overpriced despite having been unsold for a decade or two. Guy wouldn't do anything on buying more than 10 of an item they haven't sold one of. No big deal, they'll be in that box and I'll just buy what I need over years as I need them cause they're not going anywhere. Fortunately one of the teenagers working there was a better businessman and made a deal with me while the other guy had walked away.One other value in deciding between shops is reports. Accurate reports make a big difference and the shop's that tell you what they want to, to push you to buy something they want to sell is a big negative. Unfortunately I've gotten such reports here. I've had a good career within the industry and have a good network and it's often opposite of what I hear from these guys- and proven by catches

Nice bait shop. Well stocked , opens early in day for all your fishing supplies. Dennis very knowledgeable and helpful guy . I go there regularly.

This place is loaded with all kind of tackle and bait ,and the knowledge thus guys have keep me coming back .I'm 54 years old and I'm just learning how to fish and I ask these guys everything and they have no problem helping me.

A natural wonder of the area and only place to go for your supplies. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. You can talk to them and relate. A great selection of all your needs for salt and fresh water too. The best store can't be beat.

Worst place ever....i will not buy anything there anymore... it is a ripoff. I bought bloodworms almost $20 all dead and were very small.

Spent $50. This visit and left a 2.99 pack of hooks on counter, called back and told Mario I would pick them up next day.The next day I went to store and told owner Dennis what happened (showed receipt) he checked the hook item number and said it didn't match the number on receipt . Then called Mario at his home who confirmed that I bought the hooks and left them on the counter. Dennis once again checked the hook numbers and after ten minutes I left the hook house an met my Friends who were at my boat. I was treated like I was trying to. Beat him out of $3. Pack of hooks. POOR BUSSINESS MAN.
