The worst service ever. They lied and swore that some (useless) service would help my engine. Didnt help one bit. Then they lied again saying they think it got better.
Just so happens to be that a month after the "engine flush" to "extend the life of my engine" my timing belt tensioner fails (which are fed by oil and extremely sensitive to bad oil or gunk) which immediately fries the heads on my engine conveniently right after the so called "engine flush to preserve my engine" which I find out later is known to destroy parts by dislodging dirt from the engine into the oil. Thanks for screwing me over.

Their service dept is the absolute worst!! From Lisa who told me it was safe to put a child in a seat with seat belt failure to Mike the service manager calling and asking me to take my previous review down . I have had enough Stay clear of this dealership. I bought a 2023 Honda pilot for our family of 7 to be safe but we keep having issues with seatbelt failure after 2 trips to dealership they say they finally found the issue a faulty seatbelt.. I asked for loaner being as I need it for our family to get to sports and school they told me they had non available and I could come get my truck and they would call when part is in and to just put my infant seat there , when I pushed they offered a Honda accord ??♀️which clearly can not accommodate a family of our size I then informed them to speak with my husband as I am unsure how he wants to handle it because it's His truck Mike so kindly hung up on me. Their professional is disgusting and continues to be acceptable to upper management.
For over a YEAR now we have been taking the car back for service. There turn over rate on employees is absolutely insane no wonder why no one stays. Today Alicia has a nasty attitude and tells me my vehicle isn't there. And Dean who she claims didn't work there magically was there when transfered and he found our vehicle that wasn't there . They claimed that he wasn't our advisor Tom was even though he wrote us up at drop off. It's just constant nastiness and lies all around.
Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere they clearly don't value there customers and their families .

I walked onto the lot not knowing what to expect. I was greeted by a friendly worker named Jesus. He is amazing and helped me with an absolutely great deal on a car. The whole staff at Honda of Tom's River was always very welcoming and friendly. Jesus helped me find the perfect car for me and made sure I was taken care of with my many questions and concerns. He also reached out to me after to make sure everything was still okay. I appreciate the exceptional service and quality of care that Honda has. Thank you Jesus for being honest and open about everything. Being a woman walking into these places can be scary, but Jesus made sure I felt at home and cared for.

Emily was wonderful to work with and the Prologue was unexpectedly very nice. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. She spent a long time with us and was not pushy at all. She came back quickly with a deal that has us thinking about going electric.

My husband Peter ventresca and I bought a 2025 Honda pilot and could not have had a more pleasant experience at Tom’s River Honda. A few shout outs to Mario and the sales manager Jay and a huge shout out to Tony the store manager. He went above and beyond to meet our expectations of customer service. He is the real deal for customer service. I highly recommend Tom’s River Honda. I love my pilot. The car buying process exceeded our expectations.

i would give 0 stars if i could. I’ve had over 10 hondas and I would never again go back to this dealership. As a young single woman, I was disrespected and made fun of by the manager , Garrett or Gary, whatever his name is because he never introduced himself , was just rude to the max to me. I was taken advantage of by my sales man that I thought was helping me out and doing me a favor and in return was ripped off. I will be reporting them to honda and elsewhere. They define the typical sleasy care sales man. Garrett or Gary the manager made rude comments about me and yelled at me in front of everyone. It was the worst experience of my life and I will make sure this gets reported. Never again will I go there. The manager was the worst person I’ve ever come across especially the way he would talk to a customer let alone a female. I was actually afraid for my well being after being there. 10 thumbs down and total disrespect and no professionalism

Took our 2022 Honda Rigeline into this Dealership to have oil changed and address a leak that was appearing on my driveway. Set up an appointment online ( schedule was wide open with many availability the next day ? ) Drove vehicle in met with Service Writer Dean, wrote up ticket and waited in waiting room ( 3 hours ) After they finished oil change went out to check over car and pulled dipstick which didn’t have any oil on the dipstick, nice mechanic was walking back into shop and asked if I need help, he looked at dipstick and said the oil changer ( 2 guys ) didn’t put enough oil into truck.. Then Service writer Dean stated they top transmission off with fluid and would need to order parts to fix the leak, but you are safe to drive it.. Got home went in had our lunch and walked back out with a large puddle under truck again. Service Writer Dean said oh well drive it back down here and we could give you a loaner, I was just there and don’t feel safe to drive it back.. Called Lester Glenn Honda, Service Writer immediately apologized and said we will tow it to the dealership And offer you a loaner car while we get to bottom of the leak, which when tow truck showed up the car wouldn’t even move under its own power! They winched up on flat bed and as soon as they got the truck at Lester Glenn Honda Serviice writer called me to say they were pushing into shop to check it out, the transmission cooler was leaking all over under car on the tires which was very unsafe. He stated we will have the parts tomorrow to fix it and will contact once it’s ready to pick up.. Truck only has 16,000 miles on it..
Do your self a favor do not take your vehicle to Toms River Honda!
