The company decides to install gas station in the center of the original parking lot. There's no space left for people. There's little greenery left. This is a violation of zoning law (number of parking spaces). Evil company & evil local council for allowing this)

BJ's tire service in Toms River is great. Special shout-out to Pat who helped me through warranty issues. He was patient and knowledgeable and helped me save some money in the process. Get more people like him! I will continue to buy tires from BJ's. They stand behind their products!

Ordered a TV online and they charged 9% sales tax instead of 7% (NJ).They wont take the $22.00 off. They said that was a tax on the shipping charges. I've been in NJ for 71 yrs and they never did that. Besides, the shipping was free! Now, five days later, their carrier (AIT) can't tell me where my $1200 TV is. Buy your chickens and groceries at BJ's but anything else!!!!!!!! BEWARERick OBrien

I canNOT say enough about the excellent customer service by the Toms River tire shop Manager, 'Pat'!I had 4 new tires installed @ the Manahawkin site during the Fall of 2020. I had a flat tire this week (Sept. of 2023). The tire could not be salvaged. I went to the TR site & Pat advised that the wrong tires had been put on my car back in 2020! Both the size AND load rating were incorrect. I went to Manahawkin where they disagreed & could only offer to order the same tire to replace the flat, OR install a similar size tire (different brand & tread). I opted neither & went back to the TR site. A polite young man told me he could not order a replacement tire because it was the incorrect tire, & asked if I could return the next day to speak with Pat again. When I returned & spoke with Pat, he immediately called a supervisor in Manahawkin to explain the scenario of this liability matter. That gentleman called Pat back after conferring with his 'report to' person. The bottom line was that because of Pat's strong advocacy, I am now the recipient of four NEW tires which are the correct size/load for my car. Not only that, but I didn't need to drive back to Manahawkin on the 'donut' spare in the nonstop rain. Pat was able to have the tires put on 'on the spot' in the TR site. He handled all of the paperwork for the insurance claim aspect of the situation as I will be reimbursed for the cost of the new set of tires. In this day & age, it was SO refreshing to actually have such great customer service from an obviously experienced & very pleasant manager.Thank you Pat! You're my 'hero of the day'!

I can't say enough about this place. The tires are decently priced. What sets them apart from the rest is the free lifetime rotation and balance. That's a game changer because it's one less thing to be charged to maintain your vehicle.

My car was due for some new sneakers, so I chose BJs for the job. Pricing was better than the competition, and scheduling online was easy. When I went for my appointment, Rick assisted me. He was knowledgeable and friendly. The whole thing took less than an hour. I'm very pleased with the service I received and I would absolutely recommend this tire center!

Bought my tires here and my tire sensor came on. Pat spent the time to check out all my tires and took care of the problem. Great service because of Pat who spent the time explaining what happened eventhough he was working alone that day. Great employee!!!

Purchased 2 48 lbs of HTH Granulated chlorinated for pool last year.. I KNOW THERES A 90 DAY RETURN, BUT ITS DEFECTIVE leaves blue residual in pool. They said will not take back . Bad practice I can't dispose of product.. TOXIC

This company is run by managers unsuited for the job, corporate who could care less about customers, and overworked staff who get treated unethically. I watched a manager mock one of the other staff members who has some sort of disability. How despicable to see a manager who's supposed to have their staffs back make fun of someone who has a disability. That is not only horrible but ableist and it's disturbing to see people who still think this behavior is acceptable. I was appalled to see this. Not to mention, BJs policies are absolutely horrific and when customers try to speak up, nothing gets done to make the moment right. I am cancelling my membership and will never step foot in this establishment ever again.

It's a lot like CostCo, but there are some items that are cheaper, and some items that are a little pricier. It's what's expected though, it's a business. Glad to know that CostCo has some competition besides Sam's Club.
