Usually I don’t leave reviews like this, but here we go. My boyfriend and I walked into Cole Haan at the Jersey Shore Premium Outlets the night of December 30th. He’s been wanting a pair of dark brown boots for a while now. He finally finds the perfect ones at this store, however you can tell they had scuff marks on them and some light black scratches. He decides to see if he is able to order them instead as he really likes them, but he was not going to buy shoes that had some damages to them. A lady informed us what was out on the floor was out, however we could order them at the register if we wanted to. We decided that’s what we wanted to. Another older lady who did not seem like she wanted to go through with ordering the boots for my boyfriend decided to tell us that she cannot order them because they will not be able to process a new order for those boots as they are on clearance… the boots were displayed in the front, and the clearance section was in the very back of the store… but anyways… we decided okay we will just order them online then. (Online was double the price than in store). Another worker who was a younger gentleman, very thin, wearing a flannel overheard us and said “I can just order them for you if you want.” We let him know that would be great! He proceeded to process the order. The older lady rudely interrupts the young man who was attending us saying “did so so give you permission to do that? We can’t order them if we have them in store already?” At this point I was annoyed as I can see what was going on here. It felt as though the lady did not want to waste her time processing the order due to It could probably take up time or maybe she was losing out on a sale in store. I rolled my eyes and stated i don’t see what the problem is with him ordering the boots and helping us. She then says to the boy helping us “oh well it’s gonna be $5 extra to ship them to you.” My boyfriend said that’s not even an issue. The boy proceeded to process the order and successfully submitted It for us. What was wrong with the older lady? Why didn’t she want to help us? I am a manager at a retail location as well and this was beyond rude and she made this process so much more difficult than It had to be. However the boy that helped us? Amazing! Such a nice and kind young man who was willing to go above and beyond for us. I don’t like how she tried to stop the transaction and she better had not said anything slick to him after we left because I would like a word with her if she did! And if she is his boss, she deserves a demotion! Why work retail if you don’t have the patience to deal with customers and find a solution for them? I give a three stars due to the boy being amazing and helping us! The older lady prevented this from being 5 stars.

Teachers/student discount, wide selection of super comfortable and stylish shoes, and very very helpful staff from Brook the manager to 3 other people who helped us. We will be back!!

Horrible customer service, rude people!!!! They obviously hate their job!!!’ and unfortunately customer are paying the consequence of that, manager, and regular employers are rude.
they don't even know where they're doing. . ?? they deserve zero stars.
Horrible customer service, and if you are Hispanic they look at you and treat you like you are an alien!!!don't spend your money in that store. It's very obvious that they hate their jobs. And we clients are paying the consequence of that.

Came in to the store Saturday afternoon, the employee that greets ppl at the door looked right past me and greeted the two white ladies that walked in 2 seconds after me. Told the other customers about a sale they are running while I’m literally standing 4 feet away thinking she’s going to turn to me next to assist me, I get the cold shoulder. Walked through the rest of the store no one else attempted to assist me. The vibe I got was “we don’t like your kind in our store”. Work on your customer relations. Don’t just pick and choose who you greet. I will not be returning to this location.

They have the most energetic and welcoming door greeter! Great customer service and we were there because of the quality and workmanship of Cole Haan products. A sale makes it even better.
