Tenafly Veterinary hospital is the only we take our babies. They have prompt, knowable Dr's and assistants and do not do unnecessary procedures. They keep tje.vill.as.low as possible. We love them

So kind and caring, and they know what they are doing. I explained about my finances and they did everything they could to keep the cost down for me, and giving my cat the best possible treatment- Excellent experience.

This place deserves 5* (possibly more). I took my 11 yo dog who was was suspected to have cancer. I got to know about this AI-assisted non-invasive technique that TVC uses to detect the probability of cancer and so I drove about an hour to get a second opinion from them. Was greeted by polite receptionist and then got to meet Dr. Salas. She is the most amazing person. She listened to my concerns, took a good look at our detailed blood work from another vet center that we typically visit and explained me all the options and next steps. The doc was extremely patient and did not rush me at all, which has been the case with the other place we visited previously. I cannot recommend this facility enough. They genuinely care about your pooch and do not appear to be next door vet hospital that wants to mint profits form customers.

The Dr Scott and assistant Summer are new… and I could tell?The doctor had a hard time figuring out the antibiotic dosage according to weight and timing, he Also seemed unsure of the diagnosis. The assistant Put the dog on the table to weigh him and got the wrong weight. I remembered his weight And told her that was incorrect. She weighed him again and I was right. That led me to not getting the antibiotics because I wasn’t sure if my dog would get the right dose. The assistant also Did not hold my dog and he jumped off the table he is 14 yes old and he has arthritis in his back legs, SO HE SPLAYED OUT ON THE FLOOR!? I THOUGHT HE BROKE HIS PELVIS! Such an expensive visit and I did not feel like I got the service for the price payed, which was A LOT!
I am visiting the area, so if I go back there, I would only see an experienced veterinarian and assistant. I am posting that I hope my dog does not have any serious injury due to the incident at this veterinary hospital due to the negligence of the doctor and his assistant…..only time will tell.
UPDATE!! The vet clinic asked me to come back in after posting this review. BOY, did they redeem themselves! I saw Dr Han. She was professional and very though. I appreciated that they wanted to rectify my bad experience and they certainly did! Melanie (manager) was terrific! She took care of me and my Rocco.? I would now definitely recommend this Vet Clinic??

I would recommend anybody with a loving pet that wants the best veterinarian. I would always recommend Tenafly veterinarians. They NUMERO UNO IN MY BOOK. Go there check it for yourself

WOW! Tenafly Veterinary is the most amazing animal hospital I’ve ever been to. It has all of the highest tech equipment. It is so clean, amazing. All the staff, technicians, receptionists, vet assistants, doctors are just so caring and knowledgeable. A special shout out to Dr.Barnea that took great care of my dog, Cha Cha.

I've used several vets in the area over the years and after finally going to Tenafly Veterinary Center I wish I would have come here first. Everybody there is not only incredibly friendly, they are also incredibly knowledgeable and were able to immediately identify an issue with my cat that has taken years to figure out. I will never recommend another place to anyone I know that needs a vet!

TVC has been taking care of our Ginny for years. Jessica always takes care of everyone with experience, knowledge and friendly kindness. She loves everyone's pets as her own and takes the time needed with their families to make visits run smoothly.

The best! The team at TVC take excellent care of our puppy. Every visit reminds us how glad we are to have competent and caring professionals tending to his every need. Super bedside manner for the nervous parent, too! ?Highly recommended!

Tenafly has been the most amazing clinic we've taken our evil floofball to. Dr. Salas helped my cat with severe teeth issues and it's made a HUGE difference. They really go the extra mile. And if you generally feel rushed by docs or like you have trouble communicating with them... Have no fear. Dr. Salas was extremely willing to listen and explain/answer any questions we had and squash all the discomfort and fear about the procedure.
