Lowell Cleaners truly does such an exceptional job. I grew up in this business, and these people really know how to handle clothes and customers. They are so good to the customers, they’re experts in dealing with all sorts of fabrics and removing stains, and can tailor clothes! It’s the only cleaners I’ll go to!

Great place. We've used them for many years. I brought in my old winter coat and they did a terrific job. 'Just had a jacket done there for cleaning and repair with same wonderful result. They've done some nice sewing and alterations for us too. I definitely recommend Lowell Cleaners in Tenafly.

Go elsewhere! They own Lannie cleaners in Cresskill (Half price). When Lannie ruined my sweater I was told to see the woman at Lowell who called Lannie and told her she no longer could do dry cleaning then denied they were connected. She LIED and blamed the ruined sweater on the fact that it's white. Also you are given a receipt with the price but when you pick up your clothes the woman tells you you owe more money. Shame on Lannie and Lowell! Had to give 1 star but if I could I'd give zero. Do not patronize! Obviously customer service is not a priority of theirs.

They ruined My silk gloves. they returned them to me with the threads of the seam missing and they put a rusty pin through it there is a rust spot and four holes in it as a result. Visible even after removing.

This place is beyond terrible. Years ago they were a quality establishment but now they are run by people that try to deceive their customers. It's a true shame. They've destroyed over $5000 worth of my garments and instead of coming out right and being honest about what they did, they left the expensive damaged piece out of the bag only to have me notice when later when I arrived at home. They've done this to me twice already where they mysteriously lost an item only to be found damaged. Now I have to take them to court to recoup what they've done.
Two of their employees that actually work the counter Debbie and Joyce obviously aren't the ones cleaning the garments but when I asked them to speak to the owner or person in charge first they said the owners didn't come in. Okay I get it, so i say who deals with these issues, they respond with no one here can do that and that someone will call me. Never happened. Still waiting. Then they go on to tell me that i couldn't talk speak to anyone in charge because they don't speak English.
If you actually care about your garments do not under any circumstance go to this place. It's a very frustrating experience and I will be taking them to court to show them a lesson.
