“Visited for the first time, a beautiful place. Some items were higher priced than other organic markets. They didn't have all the items I needed. They are working on restocking. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. They did have some coupons for the items that I bought. For me it's not as convenient as other stores to shop. When I'm in the area, I will stop in to pick up some specialty items.”

“Our local Trader Joe in Westwood, NJ is our favorite grocery store. We have been customers for the past 15 years or so, and go there at least twice a week.The best part of the store is the staff.They are super friendly and helpful. “I know a lot of people are huge Trader Joe's fans. I'm only newly jumping on the bandwagon. I come to this shopping plaza in Edgewater often and it conveniently has lots of parking. My husband has always loved TJs, especially their frozen meals selection (it is pretty impressive, I must say). I always found TJ enthusiasts to be a little elitist (sometimes cultish, even) but I can see the appeal. They have a really wide variety of products for people with special tastes and different diets. I found the flavor offerings to be very unique and interesting. Even the frozen meals are restaurant grade quality, which I can't say about others grocery stores with their own line. My experience at this store in particular was pretty good. It was a little crowded when I arrived on Saturday evening but the store was pretty intuitive to navigate. The aisles are wide and the store associates are constantly tidying up so nothing is out of place. The people who work at the store are friendly and helpful too. I've only been here a few times and I don't come here to do my main groceries, usually just fill in items, so I can't speak to the prices too much. I think the frozen meal prices are very reasonable. Some of their snack foods and meats looked a little more expensive though. I can see why people like it though- the quality is very good. A few things to know before you go: - with limited exceptions, they only carry the TJ brand -there's no self checkout -they don't use grocery bags (paper or plastic) b it you can purchase a reusable bag at checkout”

“Garden Gourmet really is an oasis in this neck of the Kingsbridge-Riverdale woods. The quality is uniformly high, with a few exceptions, and the prices are decent. More expensive than, say, Stop & Shop across the street, but overall a vastly superior store. Produce selection is abundant, with plenty of organic options. You can tell the store has a buyer who cares about quality. Again, with exceptions. They occasionally sell Sunset brand products, like tomatoes, which are not good. They should do better quality control on tomatoes. Also, there are many bagged veggies, like spinach and salads, which can contain spoilage and are best avoided. I wish they would eliminate these, but I guess people like them because the veggies are pre-washed. But there are plenty of fresh alternatives to these. The meat and chicken section also is good quality, but can be pricey, except they have an excellent deal on Bell & Evans chickens, which are top-notch. (They also offer cheap mass-produced Perdue chickens which are tasteless, but can be avoided.) The butchered meat selection is not huge, more select, but good quality and reasonably priced. However, if you're going for processed packaged meats, like sausages and other deli cuts, they have tons of high-quality imports, along with quality sliced ham, turkey, and other cold cuts that they package themselves. Their fresh fish selection is small, but good quality and not cheap. Smoked fish, though? Huge selection. Then there's the cheese -- a superb curated spread that's massive considering the size of the store, with many great prices. One picayune exception: their house-made fresh mozzarella is bland. Luckily they have other brands. Garden Gourmet obviously prides itself on their house-made products, including bean salads, olives, slaw, potato salads, etc. -- and these are uniformly good. They also offer a TON of prepared cooked food for take-home meals, but I never buy that stuff because I cook for myself. It sure looks and smells good though. The GG has a HUGE selection of locally sourced bread off all types that blows away any supermarket. Also a nice pick of cakes and pies and other baked goods that are either house made or locally sourced. One other criticism of GG: Their coffee beans are inferior. I wish they'd get a new supplier for these. Othewise there is SO MUCH more I could say about this store -- like discuss their IMMENSE selection of products imported from mainly Eastern European countries -- but I've blabbed on enough. If the Garden Gourmet ever closed down I'd be shattered.”

“Very nice Very nice supermarket for ethnic foods, Excellent service, Good variety of products, Friendly hosts, And a pleasant pizza corner to eat lunch or snack.Some dishes are expensive, but those are unique to get elsewhere and delicious.I find their products indispensable unique and enjoyable. And feel welcome while shopping.The warm food deli section is exceptional as well, Food is fresh Kosher, And location is acceptable. With the lidel across the street That is very not good And a farmers market a walk away It's well situated as well.”

“2/11/24 Update, it appears Trader Joe's and Landlord resolved issue of dim or no lighting in parking lot. Thank you for the resolution to improve safety and security of customers - I have updated my rating according to my experience of this busy location but friendly location.------------------- Dec 2023Parking lot is unsafe at night for customers, barely lit and lot of traffic - and landlord of building is said to be irresponsive to resolving issue for months even though Trader Joe's is tenant. Maybe it's time to change locations and move out of location. Customers deserve a safe place to park and navigate to Trader Joe's. I'm sure corporate can resolve this quickly. Will rerate if resolved within a month.”

“Just had some takeout sandwiches. My favorite was the Chopped Cheese sandwich which rich in flavor. The filling was packed. It was so fresh. The bun was good and tasty too. The staff was so friendly and made sandwiches promptly. My food was packed properly. Highly recommend this place. They have lots of options.”

“The highest Quality Meat Sold anywhere, This is the only place to go for fresh Beef, chicken , and especially Lamb,... The owner personally goes to meat auctions to purchase the best possible meat, Not like any store in the area. They will go out of there way to make sure you get want you want, cut the way you want and by far the CLEANEST place to buy meat. -- Don't forget to get the homemade Kofta, and Adana ground meats.”

“This is the third h Mart that I've been to. Coming from beacon New York we usually go to the one on Central avenue in White plains and sometimes go to the one in fort Lee NJ. However after coming back from a trip to fort Lee we put h Mart in the nav and discovered this location in Paramus. Compared to the other two this Paramus location is so clean My wife and I couldn't believe it. This will now be our permanent h Mart since it's the same 45 minute distance as the one in White plains. The only downside to this one compared to the one in White plains is the food court. The food court in White plains is a lot larger with a lot better authentic Asian food. However the donut shop in the Paramus location is really good.”

“We shared a cold sliced Angus steak sandwich with roasted red peppers, fresh mozzarella, pesto on a soft long roll. Store made potato salad and cole slaw. All delicious. Made quickly by friendly counterman. The place was clean unbelievably well stocked. There were about 20 other sandwiches we will come back to try. Everything looks great. They have so many cakes and pastries. Package goods, beers, sodas.”

“Food is 99% fresh, especially fruits and vegetables. They have a decent selection of seafood. They have a latinamerican section. Play is regularly cleaned and carts and shopping carts gathered on a regular basis. The best part is they open til 11pm and 365 days a year.”

“The best super market with in the area. Always has the best and freshest meat and chicken. Also have a wide selection of international foods. You will literally find anything you are looking for here. Staff are extremely friendly and willing to do whatever it takes to make sure their customers are satisfied. Owner has even offered to get me a ride home because my husband was taking too long to pick me up! If that doesn’t scream great customer service i don’t know what does! The owner and the arab butcher specifically are super friendly and always trying to put a smile on their customers faces by having funny conversations. Owner is always in the store which shows how much they care about their business. Could not recommend this store enough!”

“While being located near the yankee stadium, this is one of the most diverse supermarkets that I always enjoy going to. I love the variety of foods and how fresh they maintain the products. The fruits and vegetables are always fresh. I really like how some of the isles are separated to embrace different cultures and to make it easier to look for specific ingredients that you want. They certainly have a large selection of Vegan/ plant based options.The seafood section is extremely fresh and the employees there are extremely helpful. The spaces are clean and the items are easy to obtain while shopping. They also assist you with your parking ticket , when you spend one $100 dollars, they validate your ticket up to two hours. I love that about them. The staff and management are extremely helpful and this one of my favorite locations.”

“Truck route if coming from I-95 North. Take exit 72, and then connect to NJ-4 West. Keep an eye on the bridge clearance signs. There is a section that is under 13’6” but that’s only for an exit out of NJ-4. Don’t try taking other exits off of I-95 North because there are signs prohibiting trucks or trailers 102 inches wide or more.Fast loading. Turn off your reefer while loading. Their docks are not temperature controlled.Truck route if taking I-80 West. You can take NJ-4 West and then connect to NJ-17 South. Do not use the left lane on NJ-4 because there is a low clearance bridge there.”
