It used to be a good calm neighborhood park/trail but NOT anymore. They cut the trees that used to generate shade but NOT anymore. The park used to be a habitat for animals like deer, birds including hawks, even fox but NOT anymore. They call it is “Eco-park” and rendering of the completed project looks fabulous, but the reality is a field of weeds without any shade. They replace with ”slippery” step stones instead of bridges over creek/swamp that makes walk hard for seniors or handicapped walker.Even worse, there are a lot of ticks, ticks, and ticks. The park turns to be a rugged empty grassland that is constructed for NO one.Very disappointed.

Wonderful park- the organization has done so much to clear it and rework the paths. It’s a beautiful, peaceful place- and when walking through it, you forget you’re surrounded by major highways!

Was looking forward to visiting but was extremely disappointed. While there are still some sculptures in the park the entire place looks extremely sad and run down. The look is very post apocalyptic. There are so many trees that have been cut down that some areas are just fields with stumps. The signs are all worn out, the water looks and smell rancid. There's garbage and random broken stuff all over. You can certainly walk the path, but it's super depressing and a mess. It definitely in need of help. Would not recommend at the moment.

Super peaceful, super nature loving, bird watchers, dog walkers, joggers, etc people my best friend and I ran into. Super clean, benches & trash bins around the trails.

Teaneck Creek Park is run by a wonderful organization -Teaneck Creek Conservancy. They organize volunteer trash clean-ups, native species plantings, and provide environmental education programs.

Small park with big park feel. Very natural and wild. You could almost get lost here. One of my favorite places to go. Picnic tables present if you want to have lunch. Only drawback is that there are ticks and mosquitoes here in high number. Bring deet.
