Best tacos and tamales outside of Mexico and the owner and staff are super nice. I just wish they didn’t run out of tamales so early. Best to order in advance to guarantee getting tamales. When I’m lucky enough to get them I buy a lot as they freeze so well.

Love their authentic tacos! Just remembered my trip to Oaxaca. Service was quick. While waiting, you can check their grocery items, such as mole, a popular chocolate sauce in Oaxaca, Mexico.

Absolutely delicious!!! They literally taste like my moms tacos down to the salsa verde (green homemade sauce) very pleased with there tacos ! I ordered chicken flautas can’t wait to try everything else !!! So happy that a clean authentic Mexican restaurant is in town !

So let's talk about Oaxaca, grocery and the diamond in the rough it is. While searching around for some pretty decent tacos, this place was recommended by a friend and of course it's Yelp reviews. When you arrive there, there's only street parking and the storefront doesn't look like much, But never judge a book by its cover as what's being served inside will make you smile. First of all, when you walk inside, it looks like a small convenience store and you would never know that there are tacos and other yummy food items being served as there are no menus available, but ask and you shall receive some really affordable and yummy tacos. In fact, today I received four Al Pastor tacos for $11... What a deal. What I loved about these tacos is that they were not greasy and overly dripping with juices. It was a happy balance between it which made eating these tacos very pleasurable. Everybody that I spoke with at the counter were really friendly, accommodating, and happy to strike a conversation. If you're looking for five star dining, you're not gonna get it here as it's literally an order and leave establishment but I highly recommend that you take a look around while you're waiting for your tacos to be prepared. Lots of really cool food items that are local to Mexico or available for purchase. Really enjoyed my food and experience at Oaxaca grocery. Yum.
