I love shopping at Minar! I discovered this place in 2022, the customer service is always great and consistent. I can safely give a review now because I am always, always happy with my experience and purchases. First of all, the meats are top quality, and let me tell you this, they customize your cuts for however you plan to prepare. For example, I asked for lamb, he asked how I plan to cook it, I said on the grill, he said ok I’ll leave a little fat on since it’s for the grill…that is just one of many experiences. Everyone I’ve recommended said they wish they knew about this place sooner. Great store to spend your money lol… I love it there!Photos: Custom cut of the Porterhouse Steak. we started buying meat and groceries from here a year or so ago. The quality of the meat, how they clean it, and customize it, is beyond excellent. The prices for both the halal meat and groceries are very reasonable.The owner and his family are not only hard working but provide the best customer service.Thanks so much.Amir & Lubna

To get super quality meat in the whole county per your desire and likings this is probably the best place to look for. The owner never compromises on quality and hygiene. He always welcome you with warmth and respect and make sure you walk out with your demand fulfilled. A definite recommendation for everyone.

My go to place for Goat meat. Sohail the owner is a very humble and honest man. I’ve been going to this place for years now and always get the best meat, cut to my liking and clean. I’ve recommended it to all my friends.

Definitely one of the best meat shop and grocery store around. Sohail is so helpful and knowledgeable, they carry the best and freshest meat and groceries, also if you don’t know what type of meat you need for certain dishes ask Sohail he knows it all. P.s very clean and fast service.

The place is a shocking health violation. Butcher was not wearing gloves. The owner/butcher used his bear hands to butcher meat, bagging the meat and handling it back to me with his bloody hands. I observed that he did not wash his hands when he opened the fridge door, he did not don and take off new gloves between handling new meats.Also, bonus points, there were a few dollar note books thrown in, next with with the lamb meat in the open counter freezer where you can see everything. That is crazy shocking!No proper safe handling hygiene at all.I was charged $10 for 1/2 pound of lamb meat.I could get 1 pound of grass fed lamb meat at Whole foods for $10.I came here to see what the local neighborhood could offer and support local shops, but this was more then a huge disappointment, I am sorry but as someone in the health care space, avoid this place at all cost, it has to be shut down by the health department or he needs to do a overhaul on safe and sanitary food handling practices.i purchased the meat out of courtesy but do not even feel safe to cook it so i threw it away. I felt compel to write a review. Be warn. The other high reviews are probably fakes.

So the store is great it's conveniently located 5 minutes from my home. The owner/butcher are great. It's a small family owned what I believe Paki spot don't quote me on that. I noticed the staff are humble and always willing to help. I call in advance for my boneless skinless chicken thighs... lamb... or veal... I always request the veal or lamb are young... my mother in law can tell when it's an older lamb or veal... you know our elders know everything. There is a bit of a funky smell... in the store... it made me question its cleanliness. the dude never wears gloves but over all the meat is always fresh and tender when cooked. They give so many bags for packaging. I still go there I won't go anywhere else for my halal meat. I really hope they do cleanings more often not just for sake of inspection but makes for a more pleasant shopping experience.
