“I don’t want to sound like a cliché but I never leave reviews… Today that changes. I visited Hugo initially for an oil change . Got that done in a timely manner. My check engine light was on and he diagnosed the situation and FULLY explained to me the problem in a way that I understood. I had another issue which had nothing to do with what he had already done and once again Hugo CLEARLY EXPLAINED what was happening and I understood. I didn’t anticipate this and wasn’t prepared. Hugo told me about a company called KOALAFI ( pronounced Qualify). BEST THING EVERRRRRRR. It’s sorta like Afterpay or Klarna for your car repair…I was able to get my car fixed and not worry about driving around and possibly killing my engine!! Such a lifesaver!! This guy is the real deal.. “Frank of Astoria Auto Repair is truly the best - he went to small claims court with me a decade ago and helped me win against a used car dealership. I bought a new car in 2015 so we didn't see each other for a long time. This year, my car has been having troubles- I've taken it to the service center twice and each time they tell me nothing is wrong with it. I replaced the battery myself. Finally, this week, it's straight up would not start, so I called Frank. He told me to bring it in same day, diagnosed the problem same day, and even called the place I had gotten the battery to notify them, complain on my behalf, and ensure I'd be able to get a full refund for the purchase!Frank really cares, is an old school expert, and I hope you will give him your business, should you have need!”

“I reside in New York and broke down in New Jersey. Car dashboard lights all came on then a few minutes later my Honda accord turned off. I googled nearest repair shop and had my vehicle towed there. Fearing the worst, thinking I will be overcharged, Adam the owner was great. He explained to me it was only the alternator and he will get me back on the road in less then 2 hours. He was right, an hour and a half later, I was on the road and the car ran great. He was extremely fair with the price of the repair. Thank you Adam for NOT overcharging me and taking advantage of me. “Just had body work done on my car from a tree falling on it, I called Rodger the next day and he was great and took on the challenge of fixing the car. He did advise me that this repair is not going to be an easy job and that it’s gonna take a while. But every time I called and bugged him on when my car was gonna be done he was very helpful and understanding, explained everything and what the next step was on fixing the car. Him and his wonderful team did an outstanding job on the car it looks amazing like nothing ever happened to it.
