While this used to be one of the best compounding pharmacies to work with, they have significantly deteriorated in their quality and their customer service. I would strongly recommend you look elsewhere for your business or patients. Frequently they ship out short dated drugs that will not be good as long as needed for the Beyond used by date.

I love this company so much. Used them a couple of times. Fast shipping and easy ordering. Puts my mind at ease knowing I have a great pharmacy to depend on.

Wedgewood pharmacy was filling my prescription for my hamster’s potassium citrate which was used to prevent kidney stones. He took an extremely small amount and it was refilled every 6 months. Each time I received my shipment there was hardly enough to last him. They act like they are afraid to give you enough medicine for your pet. Both times I ran out before my new shipment arrived. I’m not sure what the issue was but I paid about $60 for each bottle and there was hardly anything in it. Plus, the medicine is known for becoming sludgy and sticking to the side of the bottle. I know to sit it in warm water and then remove it and shake it up well. I know to keep it out of sunlight. I followed the directions each time I received a shipment and yet each time the medicine would become extremely hard and stick to the sides of the bottle. Warm water and hot water would not unstick it. I called them for help and they told me to sit the bottle in warm water, as if I didn’t already know that. No help at all.

I called to get a prescription refilled and they were having ‘technical difficulties’ and were unable to do so over the phone. The tech could not even find my account so that I could try to place the refill online. I asked to speak to a pharmacist and she just put me on hold for a long time and never transferred me. She came back and told me I could try to call my vet since it was sent in by them. If she can see that information why isn’t she able to fill the prescription? I’ve never dealt with such horrible customer service and incompetence. I will not be getting my prescriptions through them anymore.

Just started using them on March 7 of which they withdrew the payment from my card, that is supposed to happen one time monthly. I just now noticed two weeks later they took the same payment again !!!be careful with the credit card you give them. I’m desperately seeking a different pharmacy to go through.

I did not have a good experience with their customer service recently after being a long time customer. As mentioned in previous reviews it seems Iike they are more concerned with their PR machine than doing right by pets and their owners. I am going to be using a local compounding facility from now on or going through Chewy. Please don’t respond to this review. Spend the time better serving your remaining customer base.

We love Wedgewood Pharmacy! We have been getting our cat's prescription medication here for many years and have always been 100% satisfied with the service, the consistency of the medication itself and our transactions. The pharmacy communicates online, through phone calls, emails and text. The pharmacists go out of their way to answer any questions or concerns you might have about your pet's medication and prescription.Recently, our cat's transdermal medication has had a change and we were notified of the change by multiple phone calls, texts, and emails from the pharmacy. We called the pharmacy to find out more about the change and spoke directly with a pharmacist named Steve. He answered each of our questions thoroughly which was very reassuring to us. Steve even suggested a better way to apply our cat's transdermal medication to make it more effective and in turn much easier to clean the ear flaps.Last summer, there was a change in our cat's prescription and we also received multiple emails, phone calls and texts from the pharmacy to inform us of the change and what we need to do next. You can have your pet's veterinarian call in a prescription, then you approve it and pay online (or by phone) and your pet's medication will be shipped directly to your home. There is an monthly auto renew option to receive your pet's medicine in a timely manner. You are notified of how many remaining refills you have and when you need to get in touch with your veterinarian to call in another prescription.Wedgewood Pharmacy is located in Swedesboro, New Jersey, has more than 40 years experience and over 40,000 prescribing customers. They have a lot of customers for a very good reason.Any business can have some hiccups, but if you keep the line of communication open, you will always be satisfied. We will continue to use Wedgewood Pharmacy now and in the future. They definitely get a thumbs up from us! Thank you Wedgewood for your outstanding service, keep up the fantastic work!

During the past year and a half my cat has been diabetic and recently was diagnosed with a thyroid issue. She also was on and off with eyedrops for feline herpes. It sounds like a lot, and I'm sure it was, but she was the sweetest kitty ever! This online pharmacy has been amazing to deal with. Angel finally crossed the rainbow Bridge. I called to cancel her medication. The person who helped me, I swear, had tears in her eyes. About 2 weeks later, I recieved the sweetest sympathy card. I really can't tell you what that meant to me, and I can't say enough about their customer service. They are amazing!

After being a long time customer both with my own dogs and the national rescue organization I am with, I'm so disappointed in my last orders. I ordered Pimobendan and spoke with an agent on March 8th. I was told the order had to be reduced in number of tablets--which also causes the price per pill to increase--and that my order was confirmed and would be on the way. Today, I had to call twice to get a live person. The first time I called, I opted for an agent to call me back, confirmed the number and waited and waited for a call. I called again this afternoon only to be told it will be several more days before my dog's heart medication is even shipped. They checked to see if they had it in another dosage that would work. They did, but they would require the vet to change the prescription with them. Yet another step to put me through and I'm sure an even more expensive route. I'm almost out of meds for my dog. Why wasn't I told on the 8th that it would take so long to get the prescription filled?? Customer service on this call, at first, was very kind and caring. The 2nd person I spoke with in the pharmacy was nothing but rude and uncaring. There are so many dogs needing this heart med. There are so many of us that order it from Wedgewood. You'd think they'd be better prepared and proactive with their customers when they might be facing shortages for compounding. I will be looking for an alternative source.

Absolutely poor customer service, zero sense of urgency With filling prescriptions. Our vet called in a prescription on Feb 24th. We paid extra for expedited shipping. After multiple calls and multiple excuses as to why it was delayed. Now here we are March 13th and I still haven’t received the medication.Every time we spoke with a “pharmacy tech” we were told it would be filled and expedited shipping. After multiple calls a week and no sign of the prescription even have left the building I had to cancel and use a local compounding pharmacy. I’m not sure of Any business, where an order should take almost three weeks to fill let alone something as urgent as a medication, Regardless, if it’s for a human or a pet.

My only explanation for my experience with this pharmacy is that they secretly hate animals and hope that by withholding critical meds, your pet will die. My prescription says "DO NOT ABRUPTLY STOP" in all caps, yet Wedgewood has twice delayed my order without notifying me. I only find out by going to their website to see why I didn't get a shipping notification. I called twice to see when the meds would be shipped and was promised delivery dates that they have twice missed. I've been trying to get an order since 2/18, dealing with them misleading me about it since 2/21

UPDATE: Their response is laughable. Yes they did offer to refund the amount for the extra medication I bought to tide my dog over, but I was promised a FULL refund twice by the people I previously talked to at Wedgewood, not for the shipping charges, but a full refund for the medication and that's what I wanted. Their response it typical of a company that is failing, and wont make their errors right for any cost. I spoke to my veterinarian's office this morning and recommended they not use Wedgewood any longer because of their horrible customer service and shady practices. If more folks who are dissatisfied with their service recommend that to their vets, I'm hoping that will shake them up.If I could give minus zero stars I would. Do not give your business to Wedgewood. I see by reviews they used to be much better, but I think those days are long gone.I have a dog who has congestive heart failure and an enlarged heart. I have his heart meds compounded because liquid is easier to give him. He won't eat any kind of chewable at all. I started getting the compounded liquid May 2023. It seems to work out well enough until my vet changed my dog's dosage in December. That's when the congestive heart failure really started up. I'd submitted a request a few days before to have the prescription filled, but since the dosage changed I called them and asked them to cancel it as my vet was submitting a new dosage that day. And they did that. My vet submitted the new request and it went out in the mail on 12/27. That's where the problems begain.I called them on Jan 5th because Findley's meds didn't arrive in the mail. It was 9 days out at that point. I was told that if it didn't arrive at my house by 1/8 they would give me a full refund for the inconvenience. I'd had to also get a week's worth of Pimobendan from my vets office to tide him over till his meds arrived. The meds didn't arrive till 1/9, 13 days after they were sent out USPS. I sent Wedgewood an email requesting a refund. No one read it because no one ever responded.Early February (around the 6th), I called them, explained what was going on, and that I was promised a full refund. After being placed on hold the vet tech said they would process the refund but it could take up to 3 weeks to get back to my account.Yesterday the credit finally showed up in my account, but it was for the shipping fees only for a total of $10.90, not the $200 I was expecting. So I called again yesterday, talked to a vet tech who referred me to a manager, who then proceeded to give me the run around. Anything to avoid giving me a refund. I said the refund was supposed to be noted on my account, she states there's nothing there. I said can't you listen to the recorded call, she says 'we delete the calls after 30 days", and on and on it went, they can't control the mail, she wasn't authorized to give me a full refund (even though I'd pointed out that twice I was promised a full refund over the phone), she said she couldn't verify that anyone promised me a refund, I waited two months to call in (not true), she threw every lie at me she could think of, and in the end I hung up on her.I'm making it a point to talk to both the Cardiologist's office and my regular vet's office to make a suggestion they find another online pharmacy to work with. Wedgewood clearly doesn't care about taking responsibility for making sure you get your pets medicine on time. They don't do anything to solve the problem. They make it seem like it was your fault, I've seen them respond to other reviews with a "we'll look into it" and wonder if they every really do. Needless to say, I've requested a different compounding pharmacy from my vets office. I will go to every website I can find to leave them the most negative review I possibly can. The bottom line is they failed me and my pet in every single way, and there isn't anything they ca

Great idea but poor website functionality and shipping times. Twice, while steadily going through the prescription refill, it timed out. Drop downs show nothing but won’t let you proceed without checking one. One script, took near 3 weeks. Make an app already or improve your website.
