I've called multiple times no call backs or response. Why I don't understand it's really unprofessional.

Can anyone tell me how to get ahold of someone in the rental office?

Reasonably priced apartment living. Well, reasonable for NJ anyway. Management really needs to upgrade the way people can pay their rent, possibly provide a way to do it online. They literally only accept cashier's checks or money orders that must be mailed to a different address. I'm not sure about anyone else but I certainly don't feel comfortable mailing $1200 anywhere so I pay an additional $4 and change to send it certified. Just like any apartment your neighbors are what dictate whether or not you enjoy your time here. I've had terrible neighbors that stay awake blasting their TV until 3AM. I've also had great neighbors. Because it is reasonably priced you get a lot of young people that like to party and people with children that are just trying to save money. Snow removal is a crapshoot they're either on time or they don't do it until you're already home from work. They also don't do the parking spaces so don't be surprised if someone else is in your spot when you leave to go somewhere for a bit. In fact management barely does anything here. I will say one thing that bodes well. I had an issue with my hot water heater in the beginning of my lease and they literally replaced it the same day

The most unprofessional business I’ve ever encountered. Canceled our reservation 10 mins before check-in because they double booked us. Didn’t offer us anything to compensate this huge inconvenience. We made a reservation for an opening due to another customer’s cancellation. After driving 2.5 hours (with a baby) we get a call that our reservation is being cancelled because the guy who cancelled, originally, decided to “uncancel” and show up and so now our room is no longer available. Not sure why we were the ones that were shown the door in this situation instead of the guy that cancelled but then showed up. Seems like they made this up and double booked by mistake. They called us to let us know about this 10 minutes prior to check-in. They proceeded to fight with my husband on the phone saying “there’s nothing we can do about it” and “we made a mistake.” The lady that called us to inform us of our reservation being cancelled hung up on my husband after bickering with him because he asked to speak to a manager. When we called back because we needed to make sure our card wasn’t charged, and confronted her for hanging up she said “there was nothing I could do to help.” If this is how they handle reservations or basic customer relations, I would caution taking up their lodging in a time that needs attention to care for sanitation or even basic essentials/safety as the weather raises more hazards in the area. This could very well be a one-time, honest mistake. But as we drive home another 2.5 hours with a crying baby, it’s really hard for me to empathize for someone right now.

I’ve lived in Alpine Village for 5 years now. Jamie is always helpful with any questions or concerns. He always tries to be accommodating to my schedule with any issues I’ve had. Compared to any other apartment complex in this county, we are a very affordable option close to Route 23. I highly recommend this complex to anyone looking for a place to call home.

We moved in here last summer, about a year ago, when our son graduated from high school and we no longer needed our large home. This is a very nice complex, neighbors are all social and friendly, and the Super/Manager is very helpful, kind, accommodating, and really just a cool guy to talk to! :-)We have a 2 bedroom upstairs unit and we VERY rarely can hear any of the neighboring units or renters around us.This complex is definitely has a very friendly and laid back atmosphere about it... there's alot of children and people are always sitting outside talking to one another, everyone seems to get along well hereI would absolutely recommend Alpine Village to anyone looking to rent in the Sussex/wantage area.

I gave one star in the past due to the company who owned, Kriegman and Smith and their lack of professionalism- as you see they replied to me within hours on this review, yet never replied to my email about the issues i had(the woman who was running the office when i moved here was stealing rent money/no apology/swept under rug.) The complex has since been sold, and that could only lead to good things! Looking forward to positive change.

I lived at Alpine Village for three years and just moved only due to my daughters need to shorten commute and mine due to health reason need to be closer to family and doctors. Otherwise I would have stayed. Jamie and his team are fantastic. Never once had a problem with responding to any needs inside my apartment or in complex. The grounds are very well kept (landscaping and snow removal). Since Jamie’s been in charge everything improved immediately. I feel the complaints about not responding or repairing a problem in timely manner is due to the tenants lack of availability to let them in. I will miss being there. Very comfortable and homey atmosphere.

I’ve been living here for over 2 years now and wow has it changed(for the good). It’s a great place to live and raise a family. Jamie and Debbie are the friendliest people you’ll ever meet. They’re never too busy to stop and talk and if you need anything they’re always willing to help. The complex is clean and very well kept. A great family oriented environment. All the negative reviews are old and not reliable anymore. The new management is excellent, friendly, and very personable.

Horrible. I've lived here for over two years and nothing has gotten better. Maintenance requests take months of pestering to get done. Now I have MOLD in my apartment and they have not even responded to my concerns. When my husband and I signed our lease, we were told they accept any breed of dogs at no extra cost. When we finally started looking to adopt, we were told the dog could not be over 25 lbs and that we would have to pay a one-time $250 fee (illegal in the state of NJ by the way) and an extra $25 per month. Absolutely ridiculous.

I just moved from Alpine Village because we thankfully bought a house.I lived there for over 2 years and it was a nice place to live. Jaime and his crew, Scott & Kyle, we're always available if you needed something fixed, and we're constantly keeping up with the basics like lawn care, garbage and the laundry room. It was always neat and clean and my neighbors were wonderful. I always felt safe no matter what time I was coming or going.

I am currently a tenant here and I moved in with my husband and our daughter in 2016. When we first were moving in the woman who ran the office and her husband were very accommodating but things went down hill with them. They took a lot of people for money including the company. They are now gone and since they’ve been gone it’s much better.Jamie is wonderful very friendly. They have been very easy when it comes to breed weights accepted. I have never had a real problem when I have something wrong, once I tell Jamie it’s done within a timely manner.I do think a few things can be improved but they are so minor. My daughter enjoys being able to go outside and run around, she loves how friendly people are and my dog (14 year old German Shepherd) loves the people and how they give her attention.I would definitely recommend these apts for anyone especially people with children.

Fairly new to the neighborhood here--moved in with renovations done to our particular unit and they look GREAT. Our neighbors are lovely and are nice company to sit outside and chat with after work. When we moved in, the kitchen was all updated, all appliances have been working just fine, and everything was clean and looking like new upon arrival. Jamie in the office has been great to us and our families when we were signing and moving in. We couldn't be happier-- definitely the change we deserved after both just finishing college and having stayed in some really gross apartments for the past three years. Very refreshing to finally be somewhere that feels like a piece of home
