The workers pretend to not speak English, and pretend to not understand either. Bay ave is not considerate of other companies doing work on the same property. There is no professional courtesy. They will let debris fly and take no precautions to protect the area they are working on.

Bay Ave Plan Co installed our hardscaping, landscaping and sprinkler system about 8 years ago and has provided our ongoing maintenance ever since. They are the very best, friendly service, trustworthy and truly take pride in their work - highly recommend!

After being with this company for years it seems that after the pandemic they became a shell of their former selves. Given the fact that it's hard to find people to do work on Long Beach Island we held our nose and paid the exorbitant prices for them to do the work. They did a decent job but billed us expertly! Unfortunately, in the last 2 years they have been absolutely horrendous! First, the crew they sent didn't say attention to the job when mulching and covered many of the sprinkler heads which caused many of the plants in our beds including our beautiful blackeyed susans to die. They could never find all of the sprinkler heads so the sub par flowers they replaced them with never grew.In the next year they sent allegedly sent their sprinkler man to put on the system but he was not experienced enough and the system was not put on and most of our beautiful landscaping was ruined. No billing adjustment and very minimal replacement was given. The invoice production was the only function that they actually did well and it continued with fees as if nothing had happened. Finally, to cap it all off when I protested, their solution was to terminate us after years of service. The termination is actually a blessing in disguise but their actions are so unprofessional it is necessary to call them out.Use them at your own risk and with a full pocketbook!

Bay Avenue did a large paver and planting job for us ten years ago, and another one this year. The owner Tom has a very good eye for design. On this job they went above and beyond what was expected when on the last day of the job, during final grading, they ran into a buried concrete footer from a long-ago deck. Within an hour they had a bobcat come to dig it out and haul it away. No extra charge. We like that he will break down a large request into multiple components so we can see the price of each part. Excellent service and completion of the jobs. His crews are skilled, not just day laborers. Bay Avenue is a big enough company to have the skills, equipment, and experience for whatever you might need, but small enough that the owner is on top of every job and answers your phone calls quickly. Highly recommended

I used Bay Ave Plant Co on a recommendation from a neighbor. I was very pleased with the quality of the work and customer service. We have been enjoying our beautiful new landscape all summer and look forward to many more seasons working with this company. I would recommend them to anyone in the LBI area.

I would seriously not recommend them. They did the original landscaping on my newly built house in Long Beach Island 4 years ago. They were expensive, and the property looked just ok at first. My neighbor used Reynolds Landscaping around the same time and their property looks awesome still to this day. If you want an outfit that will just take care of your property without hassle, I would use someone else.
