I’ve been meaning to write a review and finally got to it. I purchased motorized Roman shades for my living room and some wood blinds for a bedroom and bathroom. The whole process was so easy, starting by just showing up at the store and feeling very welcome without feeling that the associates were trying to get me to buy immediately. It was super easy to work with them and I am specially happy with Connie at the Summit store. She guided me throughout the whole process (from setting appointments to measure to purchasing products and finally scheduling installment). My shades were installed earlier in the year and I had an issue in November with one of the motors. Connie helped me right away! And the issue was taken care off within a week. I can not say enough good things about the costumer service! And I am loving all my new window treatments

The sales associates were very knowledgeable about the products...once they helped me. When I walked in the associates remained behind their desks, did not greet me and took about 10 minutes to stand up and help.They made it seem like walk-ins were not welcome and they were inconvenienced, I felt very uncomfortable. After providing a small amount of information they typed on their computers for roughly 10 minutes with no communication, just silence - they did not invite me to browse the products in the meantime. I came to the Summit location because I felt I would receive great service, I will not be coming back.

I asked for top down bottom up shades online, over the phone, and in person but received regular bottom down shades. Not sure how much more clear I could’ve been.

Excellent selection. Denene was on top of all the options offered and took all the time we needed, answering our many detailed questions. She mentioned several price points, never pressuring us to buy more than we needed for our situation. It also makes a huge difference to be able to see and operate the various kinds of shades. Window treatments are a significant investment, so it makes sense to really try things out. Getting our windows measured was also easy: the measurer arrived as expected and worked quickly.

We had an appointment today to come out and measure. They gave us a window between 9 and 11. I got a phone call from the store about 10:15 the person had a flat tire. I then get a call about 10 to 12 that my new window to come out would be between 12 and 2. They never showed or called. I emailed the store to say you lost a sale. I then get a call at 3 to update me for a new time. Stayed home all day for nothing!!!!Nice service!!!!

Connie is so helpful and always goes above and beyond to get orders perfect. She made sure that my installation was complete before Thanksgiving when I had company coming. I highly recommend!!

Horrible service. Connie was utterly incompetent and as a result none of our expensive roman shades fit right: some are too wide and others too narrow, leaving large gaps along the sides (see photo). She was mostly non-responsive to emails and she screwed up two of our quotes, leaving it up to me to find the errors. Try the Brooklyn store instead. Good luck!

Excellent products and customer service at the Summit, NJ Shade Store. I worked with Jacqueline Brathwaite-West in the showroom to select the best black out shades for my needs, then she made sure measurements and installation proceeded seamlessly. I now have a quality product shading my windows, something I would not have achieved had I gone to a discount shade store.

I cannot rave enough about the Shade Store products, but more importantly its people. Working with Noelle Bocker at the Summit store was a dream. She knows her product well, and was able to quickly narrow down options for me. She took a look at photos of my space and quickly picked up on baseboard issues, wall space concerns, window molding obstacles, such that at installation time, there were no unexpected issues! She also was religious in following up on delivery and install appointments. The measure and install team, led by Mark, were always punctual, great at communicating, detail oriented and courteous. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I am thrilled with what they have done in my house so far and will definitely be using them to complete the rest of the space,

In a time when many are frustrated by customer service in the service industry, Connie and her colleagues at The Shade Store (Summit) have provided a lesson that this need not be the case. The shades met my expectations, but the customer service went beyond. (Or perhaps this is what it's supposed to be, and too many of us have been jaded.) I HIGHLY AND STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SHADE STORE, CONNIE AND HER TEAM.

Had such a wonderful experience working with Connie. She was extremely helpful and made the entire process a breeze. Additionally, Jose, who measured and installed my shades, was wonderful and very neat. I already placed my second order! Oh and the shades are stunning! :)

I have been in the construction industry for over 30 years and I am hesitant to recommend subcontractors because I don’t want to get the phone calls when the subcontractor doesn’t live up to expectations. However I would highly recommend Toni and her team without hesitation. Her professionalism and attention to detail puts her on another level. She was a pleasure to deal with and exceeded every expectation! A 5 star performance!!!!
