Rich and team did an excellent job helping repurpose an old heirloom earring into a beautiful custom engagement ring. While we did not know exactly what we wanted, Rich provided his expertise throughout the whole process and we ended up with a stunning custom ring on a fairly tight timelineCould not recommend Rich and team enough.

First off, you will never have better customer service in retail. I would like to personally thank the owners Win and Sue for helping us out in a situation that happened with the Schroths and Lorenson store in Summit. I’d also like to thank Liz Carvahlo because without my initial call to her none of this could have happened. The back story….. my son purchased his wedding band from the Summit store. Two days prior to the wedding, his fiancé went to pick up his ring and upon arrival, saw a note on the door saying that they were closed until the following week. She obviously panicked and called me. I have known Liz for a very long time and my initial thought was to reach out to her. Liz then contacted the owners (during their vacation) and they immediately called me in hopes to help. They explained to me that they are not really affiliated with the store in Summit any longer but that one of their past employees is. They reached out to Rich Foley who then took over. He was also on vacation at the time because the entire industry shuts down early in July. Thankfully, he was a few hours driving distance away. He left his vacation and drove up to his store, was able to get the ring and then actually hand delivered it to my sons wedding venue. I cannot put into words how amazing both stores were in dealing with what could have resulted in my son not having his band on his wedding day. I again, cannot thank everyone involved more for their genuine care in helping us. I will forever be a Schroths customer!Shop Small and Shop Local. I visited Schroth & Lorenson recently to purchase an engagement ring and they could not have made the seemingly daunting process any easier. Mr. Foley (Rich) and his team went above and beyond to create the most spectacular ring all while providing top tier customer service. I was only able to provide Rich with very few details and he was able to design the ring of our dreams. He never once tried to stretch my budget and also managed a very tight turnaround time which I thought was unachievable. I highly recommend S&L for any jewelry needs and I could not be more thankful to Rich and the entire team for a ring we will treasure for the rest of our lives!

Schroth and Lorensen did a beautiful job designing my ultimate dream ring! My fiancé told me he had no idea where to even start and he says Rich and his team were the best of help! I went in a few weeks later to meet the team and everyone was so nice! They answered the million and one questions I had! They couldn’t have done a better job!

Not only were Rich and his wife extremely professional, knowledgable and attentive to what I was looking to purchase for an engagement ring, but they were also very friendly and non-pushy about the entire purchasing process. Highly experienced, very knowledgeable, and extremely attentive. I've patronized this business for close to 30 years (buying new and estate pieces, ordering custom designed and engraved pieces, having repairs done, and getting appraisals) and the customer service, workmanship and product selection matches those of other jewelers that I had gone to previously. Even more impressive (and appreciated) was the seamless transition from the previous owners to the new owners...down to the two owners' first name!

I can’t say enough about this jewelry store. I grew up coming to the shop with my parents and would always love seeing the blue boxes for special events. When my now husband and I got engaged we knew we wanted to use his moms wedding band for our bands. We flew in from chicago and ran the idea past rich. He was open and honest and didn’t over promise anything. He kept us in the loop throughout the entire process and his excitement was infectious. My husbands mom will forever be close to us because of Rich’s expertise. Thank you, thank you!!
