My daughter and I both had Sandra do alterations for dresses we had bought for my son's wedding. Her flawless tailoring elevated the dresses to perfection. I had a strapless dress and had no worries dancing in it - it fit perfectly! Sandra was a pleasure to work with.

Sandra Diaz is a miracle maker.
After having my wedding dress custom made by another seamstress, the results were so unflattering, I was stressed on what to do. Should I have it altered or just go and find a new dress.
I found Sandra on Wedding File and went in for a consultation and to see if this dress could be saved. She was so great to work with, immediately pointing out how to improve the shape of the dress as well as turning the 2 piece concept in a more unified design.
We worked with Sandra in multiple sessions, as she improved the dress a bit at a time. What we really liked is that she worked with us, exchanging ideas, and coming up with solutions together. She made the whole process fun, and we really enjoyed our time in her studio.
The end result of the dress was amazing. It was such a transformation and in the end put a huge smile on my face.
Sandra was very professional. She completed the dress in a timely manner and communicated well with us. We were confident in her skills and the work being done on time.

Honestly, there is not one bad thing I can say about Sandra. Where do I even start??!! First off, I have a black tie wedding to attended in a month. I bought a dress that I loved but knew wouldn’t fit.. she made it better than the dress looked as is. She fit it perfectly to my body. She made me feel absolutely stunning. And she did it in just a few weeks!! She will tell you the honest truth and she will work herself to the bone to make sure your alterations are what you want and make you look exceptional. She makes you feel like you’ve known her for some time. She’s very personable, which I loved. She just made my experience better than I ever could have expected. If I ever need anything altered, I know I will be knocking at her door. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

Sandra was the absolute best to work with!! I had a very last minute wedding and she made all of my wedding dress dreams come true! Sandra hemmed my dress and restructured the entire back! I got some many compliments and felt beautiful! I trusted her throughout the entire process!!!

Sandy is a rare find. She is a true artisan with a great sense of vision, design and style. I went to her for a custom made outfit that I could wear to a formal wedding. I had been to countless expensive dress boutiques and department stores and was so unhappy with how the dresses fit and looked on me. I actually considered not going to the wedding. I went to Sandy and she designed a formal pantsuit with sheer jacket that fit me like a glove! It was comfortable and stylish and exactly in line with my personality. It made me feel young and beautiful and happy to go to the wedding. I got so many compliments. Even the wedding photographer told me she noticed me when I walked in because she just loved my outfit. It was priceless and I've worn it several more times and love it more each time I wear it. Working with Sandy is like having your own personal designer. She puts her heart and soul into everything she makes and will work with you to make sure you are exceptionally happy with the final product.

Sandra is truly amazing at what she does. She made my wedding dress look like it was custom made just for me. And I must say, it was not an easy thing to do. My dress has a tone of fabric (and a difficult fabric at that), layers, and was very big on me, but Sandra worked her magic and made it fit like a glove, everyone told me they had never seen a wedding dress fit someone as perfectly as mine. She was patient with me, not giving up until my dress was exactly as I wanted it. I went to multiple alterations appointments with her and each time she was patient and kind, ensuring every little thing was perfect. She made me feel like a dream in my dress and I could not be more happy with how it turned out, she is very talented and skilled at what she does!

I went to Sandra for my wedding dress alterations and could not have had a better experience! I had ordered my dress custom-sized online from an international designer and wasn't expecting to need any alterations, but I ended up needing a significant hem and a slight pinning in the shoulders. The fabric of my dress is very detailed and difficult to work with, so I was a bit nervous about pricing when I started looking for a seamstress. Sandra was willing to provide an alternate option for the hem to help me save hundreds of dollars, which I really appreciated and gave me the trust I needed to know my dress was in good hands! She also pinned the shoulders for me free of charge and within minutes.
Sandra works incredibly quickly - I went for my initial fitting/consultation on May 10, went back on June 4 for another fitting before final touch-ups, and had the dress back at home with me by June 13. My wedding isn't until October, but I went early because I was expecting it to take much longer than it did!
Can't post a photo just yet as my wedding hasn't happened yet, but I will as soon as I can! This was my first time ever visiting a seamstress shop and it was stress-free and enjoyable because of Sandra.

Sandra is the best!! I went to her after the first place I got my dress altered at wouldn’t help me. We were on a tight time crunch , I needed more alterations due to losing weight and Sandra made it happen with ease and assurance. I wish I would’ve went to her from the very beginning. She is an expert, my dress is covered in lace detail with sequins, she altered it flawlessly. She does great work and you can tell how passionate she is.Thank you so much Sandra, you are amazing!
