Modern Home Improvements did a tremendous job remodeling our bathroom. Throughout the process, David was very communicative and reliable which we greatly appreciated. He is extremely knowledgable in this field and it shows in his work. He has great attention to detail and is focused on taking time to do things the right way. It was a pleasure working with David, he is very profressional and personable. We are very pleased with the work carried out and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a contractor in the local area. Amazing experience. The only handyman that actually called me back in a timely manner . Professional, organized and meticulous . Plus very friendly which is a big plus :) . Highly recommend .

This company did not show up to the appointment made several weeks in advance because I wasn’t able to confirm the appointment the day prior. Stated they had other jobs so unless the downpayment sent two days prior was received they would not come to the appointment. Shouldn’t they make clear at the time the appointment was made that there was a deposit required for them to show up?

Great quality work and craftsmanship. Amazing transformation of bathroomDavid of Modern Home improvements is a skilled contractor who provides great quality of work. He is thoroughly knowledged and is detail oriented. We enjoyed our working relationship through the renovation as he was amiable, and fun to speak to. Once we understood the rhythm of working we had transparent communications with each other which helped through the reno process.David is strong, friendly and skillful and is a one man team completeing the project all by himself for the most part. He showed great precise skill at cutting a unique solid wood custom door to fit our pocket door. He is detail oriented and clean at his work.The project was estimated for 4 weeks to complete initially but since we added additional changes, the estimate was rightly updated to another 4 weeks. But the project in total took longer. It would have been nicer to have a more closer to realistic time estimate provided initially so we could have been better prepared. Luckily we did not have any delays due to materials. David was also communicative, and that helped us adapt and informed.The communication related to contracts, change orders and payments were well executed which was very helpful and always kept things clear and unambiguous.If you are looking for a skillful and friendly person to help you with your renovation, David is the contractor you need to talk to.Overall I'm very happy with how our bathroom turned out and highly recommend Modern home improvements for their quality work. David from modern home improvement transformed our dark and dusty unfinished basement into a beautiful bright and open space that our family now loves to spend time in. He also turned our old, unused basement bathroom into the most beautiful bathroom in the house! Given the old age of our house, this project was full of oddities and challenges, and almost every part of it needed to be customized. David delivered with such creative and thoughtful work to adapt to these challenges and make everything blend together in a tasteful way. Given the customized nature of the project David’s craftsmanship and attention to detail was instrumental to making it a success. We truly appreciate his creativity and ability to help us find the best solutions to all these challenges, all while being mindful of our budget.

We completely redid our bathroom which included changing the layout, a very complex redo of plumbing lines, new concrete bathroom floor and installation of everything new and shiny.Dave was able to turn around this scary project into a wonderfully crafted beautiful looking bathroom.He is a very super detail oriented passionate artist. The project also included demo and installation of new tiles for the passage outside the bathroom and a new sliding barn door.Unlike other contractors, we had complete freedom in selecting the materials. Dave helped us throughout this tedious process via video calls and texts.Dave also had brilliant ideas and always gave us varying cost effective options for even the tiniest details.He was very transparent and patient with us.Thanks Dave and modern home improvements for this wonderful experience.Services: Water fixture installation

Dave replaced a part of the base molding in my basement that had been damaged (15 feet) . The finished molding looks seamless and is matched up perfectly to the existing molding that has been there for years. He pays attention to detail and is very thorough. I would highly recommend Dave and plan to call him again for future renovations.

David reached out to me regarding an inquiry on my local town FB group regarding getting my hardwood floors in my newly purchased home refinished. He knew our moving timeline was tight between selling and buying, and made all efforts possible to readjust his teams' working schedule to fit us in before our furniture arrived. His team was extremely detail-oriented and professional. Our floors were made to look like they were brand new in a home that was 40+ years old. We are very pleased with the timeline and results, that we have opened up to using his services on other renovations in our home.
