The owner is SO RUDE, impatient and no logic for what he's saying.

We have used Hi Tech for nearly twenty years for laundry services and alterations. They do a quality job and are very responsive and flexible. They make the effort to get to know and to build relationships with all their customers. I can’t more highly recommend them.Services: Alterations

Good family-run cleaners. Also have done good alterations and repairs for me.

Have been going to this dry cleaner for over 15 years. They know their customers by name and usually are pulling up our clothes before we reach the counter! Great service, professional and all around nice family that owns and runs the shop. (And their alteration service is great.)

I work at a nearby hospital (think sub-60k resident salary with grad school debt), and I typically don't write reviews because I am for the most part easy-going and don't have time to point out every little thing. However, my interaction today with hi tech was nothing short of disparaging and deprecating.
I was up-charged for a dry cleaning service that went beyond what I initially asked for, a minor sowing repair for a blazer. Naturally, I asked why I am forced to pay more when I didn't ask for the dry cleaning. The issue wasn't the up-charge or up-selling but their reaction when I said that I didn't ask for the additional service when I was expecting a specific blazer sowing fix for a specific price a day before. After a few back and forth comments, they angrily told me to take my jacket, pay the initially agreed upon price, and never come back. They claimed that no other customer had complained about up-selling/up-charging for twenty years, so I am surprised at how abrupt and rude their response was if this truly was their first time. The amount itself was not significant (<$10), but their response made it sound like they don't want to deal with customers who question even the smallest bill change especially when there was a clear communication and expectation gap. Instead of working with me (which if they were professional, I would have just paid the amount to get it over with), they shunned me as a customer. It's unfortunate because I was a customer here for two years, but I will never return here due to today's interactions.
If you don't care about building a long-term relationship with a dry cleaner, this place will be fine for your transactional needs. However, don't expect much beyond that because they don't really care about you as a customer long-term. I used to recommend this place to co-workers, but I will stop doing that.

My family has been going to this dry cleaners for over 25 years. The owner's wife is a seamstress and can fix literally anything. They have never lost any of our items. We have been there enough times that we can just leave our clothes on the counter and walk out (that is how well they know us). The owner's son, John, works in the evenings (I think), who is also extremely helpful and professional. He always offers to bring your clothes to the car. They also clean UGGs. They offer a folding service (shirts in boxes), which is nice for people who travel. Highly recommend them.

Terrible customer service. Lost a suit pant. When confronted about the problem, never returned multiple attempts for an explanation. I was a customer for over 20 years. Never going back.
