While you're there check out Seafoam Soap Company right next door, they have the best soaps lotions and scrubs and it's all handmade on site!”

“I was in Skirt today. First full day of the Season! Always exciting for me as I love this boutique. I am not a regular by any means but I do love to treat myself. I have shopped in the bryn Mawr store in the past and have pieces that have lasted decades. I purchased my first pair of Mother pants and jeans here and I have been hooked. But want to say- today was lovely. While I didn't make a purchase- Joyce helped me and was just beyond. She was helping me, another woman AND navigating a customer on the phone. And never did I feel like I was second rate. I tried on three pairs of jeans. None worked. But she cared and asked me why and understood. I know I will be back to see what other amazing finds they have this season. I got to reminisce about my first Autumn Cashmere piece I bought from Skirt so many years ago and was thrilled to see that had a summer selection- ladies it's worth the price. Will be a piece you will cherish for years. Look for Joyce. She treats everyone with kindness and attention and just made me feel so special. And I didn't even make a purchase this time. Thank you Skirt for hiring such thoughtful staff- it's not an easy find I am sure!”

“Wow. Undeserved roasts in other reviews. Staff were super friendly and the goods are reasonably priced while also being sustainable when possible! Love to see handmade and usa sourced jewelry, a focus on stainless steel instead of base metals, and reusable / recycled / upcycled content.Girls only here, unless you’re a guy who wants girls clothes or jewelry. That’s fine too.Small overall size just a few hundred square feet of real estate.”

“I've been stopping by this shop for years. They feature embroidered outerwear, shirts, children's wear and some designer shirts with a sea theme. The thing that makes this shop different is they have a full size embroidery machine on site. The quality of their garments is very high and the embroidery can be personalized with a very quick turnaround. They carry some other high quality and different designers with sea and beach themes. When you purchase items from this small business, the owner and her family are the ones who will wait on you and make sure you are happy. The price point is about the same as other beachwear type shops, and the quality is quickly apparent when you see and feel the garments. If you are in Stone Harbor make sure to get off the main shopping street and up a block to find the Happy Hunt right on the corner!”
