This place is rare in a day and age of zero customer service anymore. I had an issue with a deck product failing to perform. The store came out and stripped the product and replaced the correct product and made it all right. Unbelievable. Unheard of in this day and age. Five stars.

I love going in and browsing because their home decor is perfect for a house at the shore and they have such an amazing variety. It's great to run and grab what you need to fix something quick AND they have fantastic outdoor furniture!

I thought I lost a rear leg to my washing machine. Took it to Ace and Greg went over and above by taking me in the back and filing down the threads to fix it. Worked perfectly and saved me the time and expense or having to order one from the manufacturer. Talk about fantastic customer service!

My go to store for a variety of items. Lots of cool items and necessities. Clerks at the front of the store are always great. Very friendly and helpful. Sometimes the men in Hardware are as well, but sometimes you get gruff guys that aren’t as nice. I’ve had really helpful ones and a few that blew me off and were a bit rude. I don’t hold it against the whole team for a few bad apples. As I said, others have been nice and helpful. I think some don’t like to help women in the “man’s section” of the store.

Do yourself a favor, and visit Seashore Ace Hardware in Stone Harbor, NJ. You’ll think you stepped back in time to an era when store employees actually knew the answers to your questions concerning the products they sell. A clean, neat, attractive, well-stocked store where every employee goes out of his or her way to accommodate the customer.
