For the Saturday delivery only ! Shame on you for not even trying to leave the mail in the mailbox today! There was no excuse and you did have plenty of room if you had just stretched your arm. But you rather leave all the work to Tommy for during the week deliveryTommy is the best! And I give him 5 stars for his gracious services.

If I could give 0 stars I would, my mail is either mis-delivered (for years!) or doesn't come at all for days! This PO has been a problem for two decades for me & my neighbors, have brought to their attention several times over the years, they just give attitude and dismiss. Time to take this up the chain. They are sub-par! The post master has an attitude and a rude answer for everything, instead of being a professional, she acts like a petulant child. She obviously doesn't care about her job.

They are horrible. I asked about a package that I could pick up and they told me that it’s probably buried under a pile and nobody feels like wasting their time or make enough money to look for my package. I told him that it was very disheartening that they don’t care and they hung up on me. The postal system is horrendous.

USPS SUCKS!!!! Ecery time i send family a gift card it never makes it to the destination because the employees at the post office can feel that the envelope has a gift card in it and they steal the card and the contents...lessened learned by my that e-cards are the way to go. SHAME ON YOU USPS

It has been my experience that although the postal system in itself has many flaws, even as a small customer I can say this particular office does move to resolve issues quickly. I came in yesterday with a problem, and I appreciate having my mail delivered to my box this morning with no issues. I also commend your driver for locating my actual box (not easy) and finding a way to get it in there this morning around the ice and snow. Thank you guys

As Postmaster of the Stanhope PO, in defense of the review from Fins Margritaville, I can assure all that the post left is both erroneous and insulting. I take great pride in my job and treat all customers with respect. I would also never turn down the opportunity to assist a business in our town.

Terrible place. Postmaster has a rude attitude. Asked her to help my business by picking up mail and packages and she had the nerve to say you need to call some number because i dont handle that. I dont know how that works. So i called the number and they advise me to get into contact with the postmaster. So i went back and she said look i dont have time for this. I told you what you need to do and i im not dealing with it. And she walked off. Long story short as long as that woman is in there (i believe her name was Bethany or beth) i i wi not return UPS GOT MY BUSINESS for my packages to be be picked up.. this happend may 30th. Im not accepting apologies from her or the usps they lost a customer that runs a business. For As long as she is in there. Just rude as hell. Post office lost money but UPS GAINED MONEY

I was born pre-1950 and I remember the "Mailman" that delivered to the creed: "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds." We knew our mailman's name and the name of his wife and kids! We offered him a lemonade in the hot summer and my folks gave him a Christmas present because they appreciated what he did for us! Now it's 2018 and the USPS has changed with the times! Our "Mail Carrier" (gender neutral) drives up to our mailbox (who walks anymore?) and places our mail (mostly bills) in the box! I rarely catch a glimpse of these employees and I sure don't know their names or anything about them!! But they still do a wonderful job! They accomplish their task and rarely do they hear a "thank you" or "well done"! Recently, I received a card from my 93 year old mother in Pittsburgh, PA. The handwriting was shaky and illegible! I could barely made out my last name and our zip-code. AND IT WAS DELIVERED TO THE RIGHT HOUSE 300 MILES AWAY! Job well done! It wasn't the result of some technical machine who electronically scanned the envelope and directed it to the right place! NO! It required human intervention AND THEY DID THEIR JOB'S! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! The next time that white jeepster pulls up to my mailbox and I happen to be nearby, I plan to take a minute to learn our carriers name and personally thank them for caring!!!

My regular Main Street route guy Bob is friendly and does a good job. The ladies at the post office are also friendly and it's nice to see them when I make a trip there.
