I'm always impressed with the merchandising of this store. I also like the way they move their lines at Holiday time and they had excellent formatting of customer movement through the registers during Covid times. I appreciate the readiness and availability of the associates to help during self check out. When I'm in a department--Meat--many times associates have asked me if I found what I'm looking for and answer questions on cuts of meat best for my recipes. Produce always fresh and not overly full and stale, just right. I'm proud to have this as my home Shoprite for the past 20 years. Thank you. One day I'll figure out the digital coupon thing. Please keep some cashiers for huge orders or for the customers who just "can't" or are intimidated by the fast moving new ways. I say BRAVO for keeping so tidy, fresh and relevant to the times.

This is the regular pharmacy where I get my entire family's prescriptions filled. I have been having a very hard time with a particularly scary medical condition and was prescribed oxycodone. My doctor sent the request to the pharmacy electronically while I was with her. Two hours later I went to pick up my medication. The woman at the counter told me that it was not ready yet, did I have some shopping to do? Now NJ banned bags, so about 20 minutes later I arrive back at the pharmacy counter with 2 armfulls of stuff. My meds were still not ready so I was milling about the pharmacy counter just looking around. The woman behind the counter starts yelling to me, from behind the counter, that I should go pay for my groceries and the meds would be ready by then. I grab all the stuff in my arms and go bring it all to the checkout. I pay and then bring all the stuff back to the pharmacy counter (where they have a register). After all this she tells me I need a driver's license to pick up the oxy. My condition prevents me from driving so I don't carry my license with me. I got upset and asked her why she didn't tell me that I needed license to pick up these meds while I was in the store for 30 minutes? She just said, "You should've known". I'm switching pharmacies.

This may be my last trip to this ShopRite. I went there because Netcong has usually one cashier. I found Byram is doing away with cashiers. I had to go to the self scan. They should make at least one cashier available for old people , people with small children , and handicapped people. I am 65 years old and I have problems with my hands. They had only one person tending the self scans. They could not ring me up. I have also had problems with their quarter rental of carts. The gadgets that you insert the quarters in frequently don't work and you cannot release a cart.

Bryant shoprite is my favorite one to go to. The produce, meat and bakery department are great and I always find what I'm looking for as they have a wide selection!

Was At Bryam ShopRite last night and the self check out was very dirty! I didn't see anyone wiping down the self checkouts between customers. Also, I noticed the employees doing the customer shopping, where not social distancing.

This Shoprite is going down hill. The mobile shopping if next to impossible due to the poor WiFi in the store. Week of week the WiFi gets worst. There are fewer people in the store so the WiFi should have gotten better but no so. Also, the issue of social distancing is totally ignored and the Store Manager Dave is useless. Regarding social distancing - when an issue of a customer being rude and not moving was presented to him, he did nothing but stand there and then ended up raising his voice to the woman and not saying anything to the man that was rude. The manager was afraid of speaking up to a rude man and I would recommend that he talk a course for managers in handling issues. If not maybe having him collect carts out in the parking lot is more in line with his abilities. Also, the store does nothing for social distancing except at the main area for checkout and totally ignores the express checkout as many times you are right next to each other instead of a safe distance apart.

I would have given a great updated review - until today. Injured my ankle last night and after a very long visit to the ER, was told to stay off my foot for a week. When I called ShopRite at 7:30 this morning to cancel a 12:30 pick up, the woman in the phone was just plain rude. I know they are crazy busy right now but would it really kill you to show a little common courtesy?

This is my Shop Rite and I usually don't have any complaints. But, during this Covid-19 crisis they are DROPPING THE BALL. I *understand* it's a difficult time for everyone but they have GOT to get the shop from home situation under control. It's being maddening. You have to pack your cart then sit and wait until 8:00 pm for the new time slots to become available, so starting at 7:58 pm you need to sit and refresh your screen. HOWEVER - more often than not, the screen will freeze from 7:55 pm to 8:04 pm and in those FOUR MINUTES every flippin' time slot is taken. That's unacceptable. Some folks are trying to keep our distance from others and now we can't get groceries. We're 2 months in with this pandemic - get it together Shop Rite, this is not how you serve your community.

Why doesn't this store have senior hour like the other ShopRite stores do. Instead the allow you to shop online and either pick up your order or deliver it, but when there web site isn't screwed up so you can't place an order,or find out that there are no time slots available to pick your order up. I have even called the store to find out when the site updates and was told no one in the store has any idea. I would rather go out of my way than try dealing with this store produce is always 2 days away from rotten, and that's when you can get anything

Ronetco Shoprites are a disgrace to the Shoprite brand which overall is awesome. I understand we are in unusual times. But everyone needs food, but there are many who are unable to get to the store or are forbidden by their doctor. To make matters worse the stores are still packed which puts people at a higher risk for infection. Ronetco is all about the money, not the communities that keep them in business. Their home delivery slots are filled within 2 minutes as soon as a new day is available. They have multiple stores, but not have added additional vehicles to handle the demand. I am sure they don't have trouble sleeping at night as it appears they don't have compassion.

This is always my go-to shoprite. I like how large it is, but super easy to get into the store. The dunkin in the front is always a nice touch to begin my shopping journey. The produce is always super fresh and being rotated. The staff is always very visible throughout the store, especially in the produce area for any guidance or questions I may have. There's always a great selection of different meats as well as seafood. I really enjoy seeing high school students checking out, as they're always so nice and excited to have a job. Overall this store is always very clean, and has a good flow, never backed up or too crazy with people.

Picking up medication is fine there, but be sure to check return policy on other items. They were going to charge me $80 for a blood pressure cuff, when I asked about the return policy I was told, “only if it’s broken.” When I asked if it was returnable if it was checked by my doctor and found to be inaccurate, I was told no.

Whenever I use one of the older checkout ladies at the store there always seems to be a problem or an argument that they don't take coupons because of digital coupons or that I don't have the proper amount and often times I do it's always the older check out persons over 65 that give me a problem and a very unpleasant about it they don't smile they act miserable supermarket checkout really is not a job for senior citizen ringing up heavy groceries all day by the thousands I really don't want to get my groceries wrong up by a scowling old woman and it's getting to the point where I'm not even going to shop at the store anymore if they are a check out person over 65 it should be a manager or stocking shelves instead and if they don't have what it takes to be a manager or a checkout person because they are rude then why do they even work here those people are the last people that you see when you walk out of that store scowling nasty old women thousand dollars a month in the store I spend that they're going to give me a hard time about 50 Cent coupon

I used to do my shopping here, but not anymore. I would buy the rotisserie chickens and use the breast meat for my dog. The past few weeks that I went, they are mostly so over cooked that they have shrunk in size and so dry that the meat actually crumbles when you take it off the bone. I looked for a "fresh" chicken to make myself only to find faded labels and an odor of bleach.....not good! Along with that, the produce has not been good. I really tried to continue shopping there, since it's convenient, but I'm spending more money on items of less quality. I see that another Shop-Rite is being built in the area. If it is by the same owners, why not concentrate and fix the stores you already have? Until then, no more. I actually travel to Whole Foods. I pay a bit more, but I know what I'm getting!
