I would give this CVS zero stars if able to. They constantly mess up my prescriptions. We have been shorted pills before and given open boxes of medication. This past experience they didn’t verify my daughters medication and gave it out and when I said it wasn’t suppose to be picked up bc I needed to check the flavor bc she won’t take it they suggested I crush the pills to give to her even though it makes her puke. They constantly leave my order pending for days and don’t call or text when they are out of stock or it needs approval and they also leave you on hold for a very very long extended time when u do call. I have still been unable to get my daughters medication fixed and picked up.

I needed to make emergency run for formula, I knew ShopRite was closed but I knew CVS closed at 8 o'clock, I arrived at 10 to 8 and the doors were locked, I was knocking on the window of the door because I could see in plain sight the two women ringing themselves up for their merchandise and I knew they could hear me, they wouldn't even glance my way, I just could not believe they were close the doors and lock them 10 minutes before the actual closing time knowing this is a Pharmacy store. Hey absolutely got me so angry that I was watching them sit there for 10 minutes hoping one of them would glance my way so that they can open the door and give me two minutes before 8 o'clock for me to get my stuff, literally just needed to get one canna formula but had to drive 25 minutes away to a store that I knew was open 100% Made me want to kick myself in the butt even harder for knocking an entire canna formula into the sink by accident but hey mom life no sleep

I was notified by CVS that my prescription was ready for pick up. A script for my painful, arthritic hands. When I arrived to pickup I was told the computer system was down and I would have to come back at another time.
1) There should have been a message on the phone stating computer issues, call first before coming in to pick up meds.
2) I worked in a hospital pharmacy and there was never just the system or computer down....there was always a back up plan which involved writing out on paper the information so that meds could be distributed.
I am not happy to have to return for my much needed medication.

Worst pharmacy I've ever used. Never not had an issue at this location. Been using this cvs for 3 years too long. Save yourself the stress and go to Budd Lake cvs

This is the worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with. But it starts at the corporate office. They're so bad that I contacted their corporate office and surprise surprise no one from corporate called me back. Every time we deal with the older women (I think her name is Peggy) it's an ordeal. We waited hours for a pneumonia prescription for my 3 year old and when we got the text message updates that the order was complete, we went to pick it up, and shockingly it wasn't ready. They tried to tell us that the doctors office never sent the script, so we called the doctor and he happily called CVS. CVS then put him on hold for over 15 minutes and never spoke to him. We ended up having to take the prescription elsewhere to be filled. Then again today, we went to get my daughters asthma inhalers today and the same old lady told us we couldn't have just one inhaler we needed to wait for them to get all 3. My daughter needs these to breathe every day, so we had to argue with her and it wasn't until the head pharmacist intervened that we got the prescription. Ive attempted to have a conversation with someone about these and several other issues previously but no one is ever available. CVS IS TERRIBLE AND THIS STORE IS THE WORST.

Cvs pharmacy in Stanhope, NJ is the worst pharmacy in the area!!! I dropped off a prescription yesterday and they asked when I would be picking it up. I said I will need it by noon tomorrow. Went to pick up today at 2:30 and was told it was not ready. Wow!! So I waited and finally 45 minutes later the pharmacist told me she was new and could not fill the prescription. I called my doctor who called the pharmacy ASAP cause of the need for it!! The doctor told the pharmacist that the prescription was written correctly and she went on to explain she was new and couldn't fill the prescription!! Wow!! So, my husband went to Walgreens in Newton with no problem with the way the prescription was written!!! We will no longer be wasting our time and money at such a badly managed pharmacy and staff!!

Very poor service. I waited an hour and 20 minutes for a prescription they told me they would fill in 30. My prescription was for insulin but they didn't bother to tell me that the needles or a separate prescription. There were four people there. They told me they were very busy then they told me they needed to check it and then they told me they couldn't figure out how to get the coupon for it to go through. I've always had bad service at the CVS in particular and I will never go back.

The drive-thru staff is usually slow and Clueless. Is the only one in the area with a drive thru or else I'd be going somewhere else. Inside is always expensive and there's rarely a person behind the counter that that doesn't need to need to be called from somewhere else to ring you up
