T.J. Maxx & HomeGoods is a very nice store that combines both brands in one location, offering a nice balance of both. It provides an ever-changing selection of high-quality, brand name and designer fashions, along with a lot of nice merchandise and odd things. Customers note that if you see something and like it, you should buy it because it likely will be gone if you return later. The store can be crowded around the holidays and on summer weekends, leading to a wait in line, but any other day is good without too much waiting. The location is described as very pleasant and peaceful, with Ocean County being worth the drive. Experiences with staff vary, with some employees being very helpful, polite, and fantastic, while others can be rude and make customers feel unimportant. The store has also been helpful in returning lost items to customers.

Hard to get in isles...too close an everyone is on top of each other. Prices are not great but just ok. Some of their clothes are like consignment shop clothes. Some are really out of style. It's ok if your just stopping by to pick something out for a quick thing...not for serious shoppers.

I lost my phone case/ wallet in this store a few days ago. The staff were very helpful and quickly found my phone for me. Which losing on that day really would have been a huge problem for me. They were great.
