Dr. Dreskin and her staff was able to accommodate our dog Lucy on such short notice and made her appointment as comfortable as possible. They are so kind and compassionate. It takes a special heart to work with animals and this office has it.

I bring my furbabies, to the vet, on a regular basis. When Dr. Dreskin moved to West Creek, she built a new office. I spent thousands at her office because I had six dogs and four cats. One dog had kidney disease and another had a heart condition. When my Chihuahua Cocoa started coughing I brought her in. She x rayed her and concluded that she had a mass under her trachea. She recommended a CT scan to see everything going on. She said Cocoa would only need one scan but I was so upset, by the results of the first scan, that I had the second one done upon the advice of the radiologist. Dr. Dreskin said Cocoa would only need one scan. The radiologist said that their was something suspicious with her liver but he didn't scan that part of the body. He scanned everything but her liver. A second tech was coming in the following day and he said let her do it. I was so upset that I agreed. They each cost $475.00. I told her tech Stacy that Cocoa was supposed to have only one scan but she replied that the doctor was out of town and had a very bad phone connection. Meanwhile, I heard Stacy say to a co-worker Joyce that she would be speaking to the doctor for a daily update. There was no way to confirm what I was saying. I was a pet parent patient there for about five years. A month prior to these scans, I brought Cocoa in for a check up. She examined her and drew blood. She told me that Cocoa was in perfect health. A mere month later, Cocoa was diagnosed with cancer of the liver and spleen. She not only read her x ray wrong how did she miss the cancer. I went to Blue Pearl in Pennsylvania for another opinion. At the same time, my dog Max started having seizures. He was put on medicine to control his seizures. When we went to Blue Pearl I wasn't comfortable leaving Max home so he came for the ride. My husband stayed in the car with him while I brought Cocoa in for another CT scan. My husband called me on the cell saying Max collapsed and was non responsive. I ran out and grabbed him but he passed away. Twenty minutes later, I was told that Cocoa's cancer was inoperable. I feel like I lost two dogs within twenty minutes. I brought Cocoa to Red Bank Tinton Falls Hospital for chemotherapy. After two treatments the oncologist said the cancer was still spreading. Now her lungs were filling with fluid and had to be tapped every week. How did Dreskin miss all this? Cocoa passed away, on the deck, in her favorite place to sun. I'm not able to sit out there. The memories of Max and Cocoa broke my heart in a million pieces. The most degrading part is that Stacy's husband is in the same motorcycle club as my husband. Jason made a tasteless joke that I was the one that helped build the extra wing on the new vet office. I guess they thought it was funny that I trusted them and had whatever tests they felt were necessary. Needless to say, my furbabies go to Red Bank Tinton Falls Hospital. They are compassionate, honest and everything is under one roof. Dreskin is good for rabies shots, ripping you off and misdiagnosing a simple x-ray. Til this day, if she diagnosed Cocoa sooner there was a chance that she could have been saved. My Cocoa is dead and that's unforgivable. If loved could have saved them, they would be here forever.

Dr. Dreskin is a very warm and caring veterinarian. She has cared for our 2 dogs for years and when our older dog needed to be emphasized due to a tumor, Dr. Dreskin was the kindest, most sympathetic person anyone going thru a traumatic situation could ask for. She TRULY cares for the animal and not the money.

Loved them the first time we went. Ever since then, we’ve waited at least 40 minutes every time. I recommended them to my parents and my parents said the same thing about the wait. I called with a question and after 3 days of no call back, I called again to ask and received an attitude telling me it takes them some time to gather the price for what I was looking to have done for my cat. So, I waited as they asked me to. It’s been weeks and no call back. Probably not returning as I don’t ever feel like a priority. They also always take my cat in the back for procedures and I never see them do it. My last vet never did that. Very nice vet but the other negatives have started outweighing the positives.

I absolutely love and appreciate Ocean Acres Vet. I started seeing Dr. Dreskin when she was in her previous location because she was so close to me and one of my cats has extreme motion sickness in the car. Despite the short distance, my cat threw up but the staff was so understanding and offered to clean her up and wash her towel for me. I was impressed by their caring and dedicated nature and despite their move to a new location, I had decided to keep Dr. Dreskin and her staff as my cats' primary vet which was the best decision I could make. During my other cat's journey through cancer treatments, Dr. Dreskin came to know Olivie through the numerous amount of blood work appointments. After a year of services I chose her office when it came time to send my kitty over the rainbow bridge. They were so kind and compassionate and made time for me at the end of their work day for that fated appointment and went above and beyond in sending me memorial trinkets after the fact. The doctor is extremely knowledgeable and has been very open with communicating about possibilities and treatments. While one receptionist is a little difficult to communicate with and is very... brief in her conversations, I still love this beautiful and clean office and highly suggest others to choose Dr. Dreskin and her staff as their pets primary veterinarian.

This is my new vet after moving to Ocean County recently, and I can say they've been very thorough and caring in helping my cats. They even did more than an emergency vet did when my cat was constipated. Overall, a great experience.

Love this vet as she is very motherly to our 4 month old fur ball Yorkie. The fees are reasonable too. Oh yea, the professionalism and the love doesn't stop with the vet-the staff is caring too.

Had a appoiment today for 1130. Arrived at 11:15. We where put in the room for 45 minutes. No one came in to let me know the Dr. Will be in shortly. Walked out. I guess they don't need new patients.
