Super easy experience, drop off your items and pick up a donation receipt. Keep in mind that their hours are something like 10:00 to 5:30 on weekdays, and also keep in mind that sometimes they get full of all items and may not take any donations. For instance when I went, they were only taking clothes and shoes, nothing else. It has to do with how full their warehouses are in the back.

Goodwill Springfield NJTyron at the Springfield NJ location is very rude and unprofessional . They were open at 10 AM. but he refused to accept my items ( band instruments and a sewing machine) argued with me and asked me to come back at 2PM even though I called yesterday and confirmed the hours and donation items. Finally I was able leave them at the center without any thank you..Terrible experience.

It says they are open until 6pm on Sunday but apparently only 5:30– the employees were still there at 5:40 and were incredibly rude and refused to accept a generous donation!

This is a great place to donate. Helpful people who care about their organization and the people they help.

There are better places that take a wider variety of household items. I have been twice and will not go back again. I will try Greendrop in Springfield next time.

Great to have a facility to drop off donations. Note: Facility is for donations only. There is not a store at this location.

Great location to drop off stuff - but don't expect ANY help at all - they don't lift a finger at this location.I am a big fan of Goodwill in general - but this location is definitely lacking

Very rude. I called the place today and the guy hung up on me. The reviews make a lot of sense now

Soooo as I see on Google they close at 6pm, I still tried to test my faith by going to drop off my donations by 5:55pm and they were still accepting donations ? then the best part was I didn’t have to speak to anyone just drop it into a room and go (I’m an introvert so this works out well). Overall my experience was stress free and this is now my go to place for donations.Btw: I do believe the reviews stated about employees being rude because after I dropped off my donation I pulled up to the end of the driveway to gather myself and set up my gps which took less than 5 minutes, and the employee ran all the way from inside to chase me out the driveway yelling “get out” I looked up to see if there were any cars behind me- NONE. So, What’s the rush? It’s like they go out their way to be rude, because that was unnecessary. I leave and he literally goes back Inside so it’s not even like he needed that spot for anything. Though I didn’t let that ruin my mood/day because some people are just unhappy and choose to take their anger out any chance they get. I’ll still donate again.

Tried calling there to see what the procedures were during Covid. Also to see if i could drop my many goods & clothes to be donated there. No response at all when I called.Decided to take my chances and stop by the store with my stuff. The guy, stopped me at the door and told me that they were not taking donations at this time. This was a bit shocking to me. And also could've and should've been explained on their website or over the phone. Needless to say, I will not be taking any thing over to this store again. Much less Goodwill.
