I came to this organization by way of Proceed Inc 1126 Dickinson St Elizabeth NJ with a referral from Yair Gomez. He took my application and filled out the request and sent to Furniture Assist . A few weeks later I was given a date to bring a truck and use it to get the items I needed such as bed ,linens kitchen and living room items as well a lamps ,chairs and table. Dawson and his dedicated team of volunteers makes this such a valuable asset to the community it serves . Special thanks to Ms Friedman for her interest in what brought me to the establishment. Again thanks for your support.

Back in the day, this place used to thrive when it can to receiving Furniture Assistance. They had everything and you could come back as many times as you wanted to receive much needed furniture. Now, it's one visit and if you see anything you want that you are unable to take at that time, it's your loss and that's so unfortunate when they are providing Furniture Assistance to individuals who are in need.
