“I came to this organization by way of Proceed Inc 1126 Dickinson St Elizabeth NJ with a referral from Yair Gomez. He took my application and filled out the request and sent to Furniture Assist . A few weeks later I was given a date to bring a truck and use it to get the items I needed such as bed ,linens kitchen and living room items as well a lamps ,chairs and table. Dawson and his dedicated team of volunteers makes this such a valuable asset to the community it serves . Special thanks to Ms Friedman for her interest in what brought me to the establishment. Again thanks for your support.”

“Super easy experience, drop off your items and pick up a donation receipt. Keep in mind that their hours are something like 10:00 to 5:30 on weekdays, and also keep in mind that sometimes they get full of all items and may not take any donations. For instance when I went, they were only taking clothes and shoes, nothing else. It has to do with how full their warehouses are in the back.”

“Yes book that WTA trip. You won’t regret it.Marina and Jorge are incredible people and incredible at creating a journey catered towards the destination’s culture. They do the research and planning so you don’t have to and they are so on point with offering the best things to do in the area. They foster an open and welcoming environment for each individual to come as they are and find connection with strangers that become family by the end of the trip.I came for the yoga and cultural immersion with little expectation of how I would feel going on this trip but open to opportunities to try new things and learning from everyone else in the group. I am beyond grateful to have been a part of this epic experience. I’m hooked and ready for another one!”

“This is the best place for kids. A big group of professionals working with them - teachers, nurses, family advocate… There is safety, huge progress and positive attitude with kids. The teachers are absolutely fantastic, very positive and also communicative with parents. Kids are eating healthy food, have different tasks and activities. There they have visitors such as dentist and other doctors with various types lessons. This way kids learned how to wash their hands and brush teeth with the best way. This is a little example, but giving an imagination about their environment. Buildings are good vented, playgrounds are in the big natural yard. I was looking for daycare and was visiting to other places before, but this is really the best! I highly recommend them to anyone! I am so glad to find them and grateful for everything what and how they do for my kids!”

“The Berkeley Heights Y is a brand-new, modern, well-equipped fitness facility with tons of great programs for families, children, seniors, and singles. There's childcare and camp and afterschool training. There's a beautiful pool for the summer, pickleball for all ages. But the building isn't what makes it so special: The Y's focuses on welcoming everyone, regardless of race, religion or personal beliefs, and providing financial assistance for those who aren't able to afford it, due to temporary set-backs or more permanent challenges. Personally, I feel well-supported here -- not just another member making the cash register ring for some corporate fitness chain. Being part of the national Y system, the staff get great training and the systems like the mobile app are top notch.”

“My two children attend St. John the Apostle. My eldest is currently in 7th grade and we are confident she will be more than prepared for high school. The technology and education are top notch. The school offers a variety of activities, clubs, and sports. It is everything we expected and more from a Blue Ribbon School.”

“I have been very blessed in the past few years of being able to qualify for the services of New Eyes. They are truly the unsung hero's of so many of us men, women and children, who do not have the ability to pay for something that would normally be way out of our own abilities to have. Not only that, they provide several choses in stylish frames. They don't look as though you got them from some sort of institutionalized place, this is especially important when improving self-esteem and confidence, I am sure for those who are trying to learn how to read for the first time, or for some who have felt that having poor sight has left them feeling that they aren't smart, or even causing them to feel unworthy of looking and feeling 100%. They quickly turn your dream of good eyesight and being able to keep up with everyone around you into a miracle in an amazingly short time. All you need to do is send off your information, and they turn it around in record time. Before long, so many things you didn't know, or see, or understand or believe...happen. Dreams really do come true! Thank you for your help and for my new eyes. Being a diabetic, and having to use bifocals, well that wasn't even a challenge for these folks. I don't know who they are, but I know they are angels!”
